  1. Right, well ive ordered the ones in reply #17. Spoke to a mate who tracks his car alot, and he recommended them too, so £500 delivered. Within 7days, so will fit them in about 1 1/2 weeks and report back. Dave
  2. You bought it off ebay right? With tinted lights? If so, nice car. The only problems your going to have is getting pipes round bodywork. Look on other forums to see how others get round problems (prob good choice of forum is ones with 1.8T 20v as there are loads of different ways to overcome bodywork). HTH/. Dave
  3. Ebay? Merlin Motorsport? Pipercross? . But you will probably have to measure the ID of the pipes your joining. HTH. Dave
  4. Yeah, anything will fit, just depends how much you want to roll the arches. 9's should be ok, but it does depend on whats the offset etc.
  5. Just looked at FK Sports+ 6 point adjustable @ £482.31 But cant tell if there front and rear, or just front. Bargin if its a full set. Venom Motorsport Performance Car Parts - Black Diamond Brakes / FK Suspension / Eibach Suspension / Weitec Suspension / Supersport Suspension / Magnex Exhausts
  6. Sweet. Just worried about pothole shock. Dave
  7. Under £400, and rated one of the best on here? Cant find the Weitec's price list in english!
  8. Ive heard v-maxx are pants. How much are Weitec's and AP's ? Do whiteline do anything? Looked on there website but cant find anything. Dave
  9. Anybody got any advice on coilovers? Ive looked at PI and Supersport ... The latest internet price on But dont know what there like performance wise. I want to go lower than most shocker will let you, so coilys are a must. Would like some KW V1's but limited money is a problem. Any views on the above two coilovers, and any others. Dave
  10. Castle Combe? Im a local. You can rent bolt on mufflers that just clip on the end, try phoning the track, or Merlin Motorsport, who are based on the track side. HTH. Dave
  11. Haha. Your pretty much right. Want a light weitht factory looking Furby. Air Con might have to come out.
  12. Trouble is I use the back seats. I thought about recaro reclining seats up front as there lighter, but still adjustable. ?? How easy is it to put the battery in the back? Where did you run the wires? I presume you just extend the positive to the back, and make a new earth? Dave
  13. Doorcards?, but what would that look rubbish? Dave
  14. Thank you Big Dave, for your proper answer Spare is out already, and mats in the back are out, and rear headrests, however, headrests are in the boot. Anyone else. keep the ideas comming.
  15. And No Stripes !!!! Was thinking the Fabia needs a diet, but where can I loose weight, and still use it as a normal 4/5 seater car? Ill be making my straight through exhaust sood, so will loose the weight of the cat/box and sell the cat (company round me give up to £200 for cats! not 4 legged ones, or 3!). Thought about perspex windows like I had on my '86 Mini, but a bit dodgy. I could loose some of the standard audio, or replace it with lighter speakers. Anyone got any ideas? Dave
  16. I just got some Mini Comps, and there great. Although, you will need it lowered, as its made my car look like its on stilts. Dave
  17. I dont think mine is working, 'cos I can left foot brake and power at the same time! Strange.
  18. Use copper grease in the first place, and you wont find a problem, Only lightly, and not on the threads if you can help it. HTH. Dave
  19. Dump valve will make no performance gain. It will atcually loose performance because of the way a TDi works. It does indeed sound like the 'Dog'. Named accordingly. HTH. Dave
  20. Ive got 270 odd feedback, most of it was random stuff! haha. Loving that link BTW. Taxdisc might have to be ordered, seeing this month I have cracked a Team Dynamic ProRace2 alloy, popped 3 tyres and dented my spare!!! Sodding taxes doing to waist, not fixing holes!! Dave
