  1. You would have to get the biggest one possably, which isnt a problem, as they also do "Rubber Anti-vibration reducers",. So you could have a really big filter and reduce it down to the MAF size. Job done. Dave
  2. That engine is going to get HOT! Not a big fan. (not a small one)
  3. Its to make your engine quieter. Mine has been taken off to try and get more air in the engine bay, but it does sound like a tractor. Dave
  4. Ive got an email back from said company, and there not sure if the bar will fit or not. They said to buy one, and try it. Then buy the group buy if it fits. I havent got cash to splash at the mo, so im afraid its down to someone else to buy the 1st one. Dave
  5. Q. Is is just me or on the 2nd pic, has the car got a flat front tyre? A. Its just you. Q. What's the ride/handling like with the Weitecs? A. Handling is sooo much better. Even just trundeling along it rides better. And less road noise too?! Q. get it slammed, those wheels look tiny tho A. It will go lower when I move, but at the moment, id end up ripping my sump off in 500yards! I am a farmer, and live up a track with potholes that could swallow a small car! It looks lower now. Ive fitted my splitter.
  6. Im with Brentacre... They beat Adrian Flux by a long way this year. They will let you have any amount of mods. And I know they let you remap. HTH. Call John @ Brentacre on 01792 650 933
  7. Id say it would. As it fits the 1.9TDi Ibiza. If it does, Id be up for a Group Buy. £39.71 inc VAT is a bargin anyway, but its worth a shot. Ill email them. Dave
  8. So ... £250 would get you a phat FMIC and a diy sprayer. Haha.
  9. I rekon with there £10k budget, I could have got that Avantime flying. They went about it wrong. Needed a big turbo (+ the usual exhaust, decat etc), coilys and serious rubber. Dave
  10. Will they have sound deading on the inside? Dave
  11. Still a Vauxhall tho!! Get a mk4 R32. There a god price atm.
  12. Haha. Bad jokes are the best. They are 16's, I had 17" Pro2's on before, and popped two tyres, cracked a rim and buckled another all on the same hole!! That was an expencive week!
  13. Funny, 'cos I wasnt looking for a yellow one, and wasnt sure about buying it, but glad I did.
  14. Splitter has been picked up and is going on tomorrow by the way.
  15. Hello all. I dont think ive posted any pics of my car before, but I got it 100% standard. Ive just had my Weitec coilys fitted, so thought I'd show it off before 'Combe, so people know who I am. Its dropped 30mm front, and 35mm back for now (im a farmer bare in mind). Coilys where fitted by a mate, who wants me to plug him on here. PM me for his details (hes in the Chippenham area, and has been a mechanic for 7+ years, and will do anything as he's now a mobile mechanic). Ive removed the rub strips and the rear badging (not the Skoda badge), painted the grill, and probably other things that ive forgotten....EDIT: like the mini comps! Also, thanks to Dave (my mechanic mate) for polishing my car, inside and out.
  16. You can buy a lightened DMF aswell, may be a thought. Dave
  17. Plus catch cans way too much too hey Devonutopia?? Mine has been on for ages now, and is fine. MOT guy said "thats breathing heavy aint it?" with a big grin on his face. I knew exactly what he was on about. The open end of the pipe does look like it steams abit, but thats just moisture. Had crank case off the other day, and all looks mint. Dave
  18. Any second now someone will say a kitten has died. Search would have told you a price. Your talking over £1100, and you would need a RR too. HTH, Dave
  19. That hose will be mint, cant remember what size, but that site looks like a bargin. Dave
  20. I did the same as Joel. Didnt take long at all. Dave
  21. You may need some big a$$ wheels to get over them??
  22. If there not that expencive PastyBoy, then you wont mind buying me one??
