Estate rear seats in a hatch.
de_compet replied to Potta's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Many thanks, I realised that my car has folding ones as JR RS photo. There's a friend breaking his Combi RS, I expect It can fit.... ...As I never fold before, I found a coin, XD. -
Estate rear seats in a hatch.
de_compet replied to Potta's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Summary: 1 seat base 2 top 3 side pads Maybe 1 and 2 could be fitted, but 3 not?? What's the problem with wheel arch? I saw on etka two different rear seats, "fixed" and "fold" ones, but maybe I can upgrade fixed mines to "fold" ones... -
I have both boxes (under driver and passenger), without noise. but I think It's a good solution.

I have had the same problem, but in my case when cleaned wire connector the error disappeared. Did you check both connectors? 1. On the floor (inside plastic box) ----> it was my fault 2. Below the seat near seat lever bar ----> it was not present on my O2, but maybe it was fixed by previous owner Good luck.

Central locking/ boot button problem
de_compet replied to L14MNV's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Is the yellow light switched on when car is autolocked? If not maybe it's not connected well. You can access removing passenger side panel, then try to check connector or remove the switch with a small screwdriver (just press small brackets below). -
Hello Devdath! And welcome to this amazing community. I have a question, is Laura a bit different than UK/EU Octavia? Can you post some pics with it? Regards

You can make your own fitting box in MDF. i made this for my rear doors (no preinstallation found): https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EO3FX6iSyLc/Tv8ylGmPAyI/AAAAAAAAAB4/hewzpUdV0l0/s800/IMG00061-20111228-2031.jpg Maybe It's more dificult than oem panel, but MDF sounds better than plastic sockets.

change cigarette lighter to 12v socket cover

I removed when I was installing the jumbobox. If you dismount the jumbobox, is easy to remove, just press until it goes out. But I know that there's a specific tool to remove by pulling directly metallic cylinder. After this, think that the hole is not a perfect circle, there's a straight side, and maybe you need to cut a bit to make perfect circle. -
Català ----------- Really I don't understand the joke about cigarettes, but I don't smoke, and I don't know actual prices. Try in Andorra, over there prices are the lowest from west Europe

Dear alll, I've been registered here for a long time, but I've never introduced myself. I am from Barcelona and I have a Skoda Octavia 2 from '07, It's basic version 1.9 tdi Trend (of course is not RHD like yours). I made some mods, very basic but useful ones: - USB-MP3 player on Stream (form Seat Leon) - Brushed steel pedals and footrest (RS and Golf) - Boxes under both front seats - Upgrade to Jumbobox I think I can learn a lot here form your cars.
