Interior condensation
Just to add to the above good advice; leave the air vents set down to the foot well when parked up overnight to direct the incoming damp air away from the windscreen. Never turn off the aircon when using the car as it dehumidifies the incoming air.

Hot car ! Front grill cover. Photo's
Neat solution. And I always wondered what the blob in the centre of the lower grill was about.

Headlight change/adjustment for use in Spain
I had no problem in Belgium with 'flattened' beams, but I wasn't resident just military (NATO). You'll have to find out locally if you need to buy new lights to conform or if they're OK with flattened beams. Lights are ridiculously expensive, but maybe you can get a pair from Spanish eBay and sell yours on UK eBay!!! As rum4mo says, you may have to do some jiggery with the rear lights. My car had red fog lights both sides, but at that time Belgium only had one on the offside, but they were happy with me just blocking the nearside red light with black Duct Tape! Often this sort of decision is down to whether the tester is a jobsworth or a human.

Mods
Get the wheels powdered coated black to match the car highlights!

Tyre pressures
I use 32 psi mostly, except if I have a heavy load (4-up plus loads of luggage) when I put 35 psi in the rears.

Fabia MK3 ARM REST
Yes. It is optional on certain levels of trim. We have one and it's a bloody nuisance, so always folded back!

Cigarette power
Hard wire it to the fuse box and use a piggyback double on one of the ignition activated fuses. I had to do that in my Yeti. But in my Fabia, I plug it into the lighter socket and remember to plugin / unplug as needed because I like to leave the dashcam on when I park in a public carpark.

Fabia 1.2TSI Monte Carlo Tyre Questions
Depends on the level of wear, otherwise I'd agree. I'm not suggesting using overworn tyres either end.

CAMBELT CHANGE
I agree. The belt manufacturer quotes a much longer life for their belts. I can't remember exactly what they quote, but it is something like 10 years, 150km. VAG say that it is the tensioners, which are always changed with the belts, that are the problem. My Fabia will be 5 years old in January; I'm more concerned that they didn't change the DSG fluid at 4 years, although my Fabia has only done 18k miles. I'll get them to change it in January rather than replace the cam belt!

CAMBELT CHANGE
No. The water pump has been relocated well away from the Cam belt path, so it can be replaced independently when needed.

2019 Fabia Estate
Have you ever experience a puncture so bad you had to change the wheel immediately? I've been driving 55 years and I have never had a puncture that bad. I've always been able to over-inflate and get to a tyre dealer. If you do get a complete blowout, VAG recovery vehicles carry a spacesaver and get you to follow them to the nearest tyre dealer.

Fabia Estate no longer available?
I'm far happier without the mile-wide distraction too. A speedo and a few lights is all I really need, with my mobile for Satnav and music! I was in a Merc the other day; as soon you sit in the driver's seat, a big sign is displayed, 'DO NOT BE DISTRACTED BY THE SCREEN WHEN DRIVING' (or something similar) . What a crazy world!

Fabia Estate no longer available?
Most SUVs don't have the luggage volume of a 'proper' estate either. I'm often baffled by the lack of space in some of the monstrosities! If you want space and style, I'd put up Skoda Superb Estate against most SUVs.

Fabia Estate no longer available?
Thank you. That is better news, although the 2nd half of 2021 seems a long way away!

Fabia Estate no longer available?
My next car is planned to be a Fabia DSG estate too. A sad loss. I don't want/need a large car like a Kamiq. A Fabia Estate meets my requirements perfectly. Needless to say, I don't follow fashion or trends! I prefer practicality.

Fabia 1.2TSI Monte Carlo Tyre Questions
It is best not to mix different tred patterns, so my advice is to swap the fronts and rears, which should slow the wear until they need replacing. Then replace them all together. Tyres are too important to mess with.

what sport seats can fit in fabia 2016
Seats from a Montecarlo fit.

2017 MKIII Monte Carlo Bumper
The diffuser is a seperate blavk part that's glued into place. You should be able to order one from Skoda.

Misfire at idle 1.2 TSI (CJZC)
Although it may be plugs are reaching eol, but all four together seems wrong. Ditto the ignition coils. However, the simplest diagnostic is to replace the plugs. Have the oil and coolant levels been ok? I'm slightly suspicious that something other than fuel/air is getting into the combustion chambers even though you say the plugs look good.
-
Central Locking jammed locked and wipers stay on intermittent
It's just typical of many modern mechanics; they plug in the diagnostics and if the diagnostics fail to identify the fault, the mechanics (technicians) are hopeless at diagnosing anything. So they just replace everything.

Ventilation system fault?
The aircon comes on as it dehumidifies the air to assist clearing the windscreen.
