  1. I have coded WLAN DLNA on Discover Pro MIB1 unit, so Discover Pro definitely has Wlan built on: Sadly still no success with Google Earth activation, the menu is there, but it is greyed out. For using Google Earth I think that the car has to be registered to Car-Net, at least on one DP MIB2 unit after the registration Google Earth has worked. Although I know of a one Golf 7 with DP MIB2 retrofitted that Google Earth works on it without Car-Net registration. On Columbus MIB1 in Octavia the same has been coded, but I will confirm Wlan DLNA working today. Google Earth menu does not appear on this unit. So, some things could be doable, but I will have to get hold of Columbus MIB2 unit to try them out.
  2. According to my information only lights with stripes that light up are compatible with Smart Light Assist. These headlights that your car has, cannot do Smart Light Assist only Light Assist can be coded.
  3. Does your car have xenon lights with lighted stripes inside?
  4. Take a look here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1Td73_uUUqscV3nRm5br_o89PmBU&hl=en_US&ll=52.26224804719929%2C-4.617364003124976&z=6
  5. It does not. y guess is that it would be better to replace the car for a car with camera. Maybe you could get away with it if you would get all the parts from car in accident, but even then there are not a lot of people that would manage to do this. You would also have to change front window, rear-view mirror mount, maybe some other electronics, camera needs to be calibrated, etc. Interesting, it definitely says proximity: KEYLESS ENTER & GO With this feature you no longer have to worry about taking your keys out of your pocket to unlock your car. Simply approach the vehicle and it will unlock depending on proximity. I will have to check with my local dealer if this is true or just another marketing bull**** :). In my opinion Renault has this system perfect. It automatically locks the car when you are cca. 2m away, just what I would need.
  6. Correct, though I think that it is not so straightforward for newer models... It could be that this is connected with ''half-generation'' change, etc. new Ateca, Kodiaq, facelift Octavia 3, facelift Golf 7. If it is so then also Superb will get it with MY change or facelift. Can you link the add?
  7. Use the latest one 17.1.1. And follow Gizmo68 instructions.
  8. Because only on cars with Kessy you can also close the boot, on cars without it you cannot close it via remote control...
  9. Not that I am aware of. Doesn't changing sensitivity with button on wipers stalk work for you?
  10. Definitely not. Which vcds version are you using? With VCDS no. I presume you have Kessy, right?
  11. I am not familiar with Apple, but you can run any app (Google Maps, Igo, Torque, etc.) via MirrorLink if you have Android... So, not only maps that are certified to work with Android Auto.
  12. You can't. 150 EUR is not really end of the world if you need all this...
  13. It is easy. Then you do not want to have SmartLink...
  14. He coded something before this and that has lead to this fault code. He has to go back to factory config and then start new coding. You cannot expect that you will get gold out if you start with garbage... And more he will poke around it and not solve it, harder will be to resolve it.
  15. I am sticking with my advice: you have to get rid of fault codes before any further coding. Now you are making a big mess even bigger mess. PS: Publishing your VIN number is not a good practise... I suggest you to delete it.
  16. Since that coding was from factory, yes it is safe :). Revert all the codings that you have done to factory settings, delete fault codes and check if they reappear. If they do, you still have some problem. Combining few coding instructions when you have previous fault codes will not lead to solution, if you do not know exactly what you are doing.
  17. Just one best practice advice. BEFORE your start coding by new procedures RECODE BACK TO FACTORY codings so that you do not have any trouble codes. After that go ahead with new coding.
  18. Finally I have managed to edit and publish a video from 29th of October when I was at auto track day at Raceland. Superb was perfect, I have really enjoyed driving on the racetrack and even though this racetrack is for gokarts, so quite with quite closed corners, the car was great. The only problem were Dunlop SportBlueResponse tires that started to peal off... I really didn't expect that... I hope that video shows at least part of joy that I had when driving on the racetrack...
  19. It should be possible to activate Light Assist.
  20. Daytime running lights-Tagfahrlicht nur in Schalterstellung AUTO
  21. Quite a lot has been done during this time: LED license plate lights, rear DRL lights in Skoda smile shape and side chrome thrims were finally fitted. Also after two years in my ownership I have finally managed to polish the whole car so that is is really shiny. And the colour was really dirty, as it can be seen from this photo of clay during cleaning the roof. The only unexpected cost until now was front right bearing that needed replacement: Lowest consumption achieved: Despite being only Greenline it can still overtake :
  22. I've had that same module (F) on a Superb MY2017 and on Passat MY2017. I haven't coded TSR, because they were factory fitted with it, but TSR coding on both cars was the same as in MY2016 cars.
