  1. Exactly why I always got on with members like you, because you get it😂 The “Occy245” idiot who mentioned that I signed off with a greeting…..just doesn’t get it does he🙄😂😂😂 Proof, if ever any was needed, that this forum has gone to dogsh!t Sussamb, take care of yourself brother. Maybe one day when all these woke, boring idiots have long gone ill be back, until then, bonjour buddy👋😂
  2. Ok ok here’s what I’ll do, I’ll disable my account so that the certain idiots on here ( you know who you are) can continue with the mind blowingly boring chat that has crept into this forum over the last couple of years. When I joined in 2004 it was a vibrant, light hearted and often interesting place to be, now it’s just dull and full of thin skinned idiots who wouldn’t know banter and humour if it slapped them in the face. So, it’s with a not very heavy heart that I’ll call it a day, and let all you boring idiots get on with your mundane boring posts. To the decent ones on here (you know who you are) best of luck. Bonjour😘👋
  3. Provocation. Brilliant🤣🤣 🤣
  4. Does it? Super, thanks😘
  5. Calm down mate, it’s boring now🙄🤣🤣
  6. I’ll rephrase then, both the 1.0 and 1.5 DSG’s I’VE had HAVE been slightly jerky from start……in fact the 1.5 more so. Personal experience.
  7. Yeah mate don’t sweat it, there isn’t a car out there that doesn’t rattle or squeak now and again. Just drive and enjoy👍
  8. I’ve driven both the 1.0 110 DSG and the 1.5 148 DSG and there ISNT that much between them, despite some of the previous comments. They are both jerky from the off and they both pick up very well. Obviously, the 1.5 picks up quicker but in real world terms the difference really isn’t that much. I’d recommend the 1.0 110 to anyone, and I’d recommend the 1.5 148 to anyone, Some people on here seem to think that the 148 is the fastest production car ever made…….it really isn’t, not by a long way😂
  9. Exactly what I do matey, turn off stop/start before each journey. You shouldn’t be getting battery issues after a few weeks without use, that’s all I was saying buddy, but certain idiots on here took exception to it. If your car is under warranty see what the Dealer says, because modern batteries should NOT degrade so easily, despite what those self proclaimed experts say🙄😂😂
  10. Exactly mate, and that’s all I was saying but one or two people on here got a little over excited and took exception to my comments. Very odd behaviour🥴
  11. Brilliant😂😂
  12. I read the first few words and then gave up mate, beyond boring.🥱 Don’t be like that mate.
  13. They? Who’s they? Mate, I’ve been driving cars since 1988 and I can categorically tell you that not once have I had a battery issue. Maybe certain people don’t know how to drive/maintain cars, who knows? Oh, and for the second time I HAVE left my car for almost 4 months over a freezing winter, and it started first time without issue. Confusion? No mate, I merely stated that in all the years I’ve been driving I have NEVER once encountered a battery issue. You call that confusion? Jesus🤣 Frankly, this is boring me now🙄🤣🤣
  14. You don’t have to value it or consider it mate, it couldn’t care less either way. Just know that in well over 20 years and probably 10 different cars I have never once had a battery issue. It’s a lived experience mate, but you go with what you go with 🙄🤣🤣
  15. As I’ve said, the many cars I’ve owned over the last two decades have NEVER had a battery issue. You can give me all the in depth scientific evidence you like, fact is in my experience it’s either rarer than rocking horse sh!t or a total myth. Your choice🤣
  16. Hahaha brilliant. I’m nowhere near triggered mate, just telling you how it is. A modern battery should NOT struggle after 3 months out of use. If you/ anyone thinks otherwise then you need your heads wobbling/ or you have no experience of cars whatsoever. Aside from anything else, what’s it got to do with you? Wind your neck in🙄😂😂
  17. Guys, do what I do and just use your car normally. It involves just using your car normally🤷🏻‍♂️ If that means not using your car for days on end, or using it every single day then so be it, you’ll probably find that you have zero battery issues either way. I do, have done for as long as I can remember, no issues whatsoever. Threads like this literally twist my melon man🤷🏻‍♂️😂😂
  18. And then when this is resolved you’ll notice another creak or rattle. Where does it end?🙄
  19. As I’ve said, I left said Audi A3 for 4 months a few years ago during a bitter winter. It started first time and I never once had an issue. You can talk about battery drain and the various things that will draw power all you like, fact is the modern battery cannot be compared to those in the 70s or 80s. Fact. Your battery drain will be offset by the advancement in battery technology, therefore a half decent battery SHOULD see you ok if your car isn’t used for a while. Not rocket science🙄
  20. Completely unnecessary, a battery in decent condition will easily start a car in the winter after not having been used for a while. I work 4 on and 4 off and even when it’s minus 3 my car (and all my previous cars) have started with no issues after 4 days without use. A few years ago I had an Audi A3 which was 3 years old, and it still started with no issues in the winter after having been sat unused for nearly 4 months. It was a particularly cold winter btw. If your battery is half decent you don’t need fancy chargers or meters etc……but it’s your money I suppose🤷🏻‍♂️ Things have moved on since the 70s and 80s folks😂
  21. My first Kamiq was a 21 plate and was a year old when I purchased it. My current Kamiq was brand new on a 73 plate and thus far zero issues.
  22. Both wired and wireless. And whatever the latest iOS is it’s the one I’m using. And all the previous iOS versions worked too.
  23. On my second Kamiq and never had an issue with connectivity. I use an IPhone but the Mrs has a (crap) android and her phone always connects too. Weird.
