I had a Lexus LS 400 and a Toyota Soarer and the sound system on those had a lovely natural sound and I find the Canton system on my Superb to be tinny in comparison.

The same here, it's the reason I bought the car with DCC and I ride around in comfort mode most of the time. I'm amazed so many people complain about the suspension as the car is a big boat and it would be a surprise if the suspension was set up differently.

Worked for a while but had to take it apart again, the problem is getting the plastic surround holding the contacts to line up exactly on the white plastic that is attached to the start/stop button. The soft plastic surround keeps distorting no matter how I line it up. Ordered a new pattern one!

I did mine today and those plastic clips holding it together are a sod. I sprayed all contacts with Deoxit D5, expensive stuff but it dissolves corrosion and leaves a protective layer. I also sprayed all connections as these didn't look great!

Not the same engine but I find the mpg on the screen to be 4 mpg on the optimistic side when I fill the tank and measure myself!

Dealer replaced seat motor and memory switch and had to replace the seat controller in the end, so all fixed.

2016 L&K 2.0 diesel 150bhp.

In the end it will be the dealer I bought it from's problem to sort out. Interesting that they do a pre-programmed unit from a Slovakian company and I wouldn't know how genuine they are but they look ok. I'm taking it back to the dealer (non Skoda) who sold it to me and they can verify that it's not working. It looks like 5Q0959760F is the latest controller to replace it, and I know it needs programming to my VIN but wondering does it come preprogrammed when bought from a Skoda parts department? I know the garage I bought it from wouldn't be able to programme it but could install and reset it it if preprogrammed. Thanks again for all the help.

Researching this Return to factory setting is a no go as it looks like it disables the seat.

There were three options: Return to factory setting, Norming, Reset Standardization. Should I have done one of the others before Norming? Sorry to keep asking but i don't want to alter anything I can't reverse.

Did the norming process (all axes) and it finished correctly and no change so back to the car dealer and he can try and sort it! Thanks for all your help.

It had a service with Skoda in January 2021and surely they would have applied any software updates then. Skoda had it in for a service on 20/3/2019 also and I see the software update for this problem was released on the 7/2/2019 and surely one of those times they did it. Is there anyway of checking?

Dsg has just been serviced car has 28,000 miles on it with a comprehensive service history. I don't think there's anything really wrong with the gearbox it's a matter of me probably adapting to it's characteristics. I haven't tried sport mode but I will. Thanks.

Thanks, I shall try a full basic setting with a reset of all the movements which I had tried without the basic resetting on VCDS. When you say a full basic setting, what does that entail just the basic settings or do any other settings need to be done?

The tank will work perfectly and I wasn't prepared for another wait for a new one that may well have been just the same. I know it's a semi automatic gearbox but it seems to be set up for getting good mpg above all else, all the usual complaints really. The ride on the 19 inch wheels is harsh at times especially on drain covers potholes etc. Tyre roar isn't a problem. It's a diesel 2.0 150 bhp.

Replaced Mit Silikat Radiator expansion tank with a Mahle pattern part which didn't fit exactly as left side clip that holds it on to frame was slightly short, so I put a self tapping screw through the top of the clip and some rubber underneath to stop it moving up and down and it now fits perfectly! I reset DSG box and it's slightly better but I will probably get a TVS gearbox remap as it's not an easy thing to get used to. I was driving a 27 year old Lexus Ls400 before and the auto box on that was better. Comfort is pretty good but it does have 19 inch wheels which are just a bit too much and I may replace them with 18 inch wheels. I was even thinking about 17 inch wheels but I think everything on the car is set up for the 18/19 inch wheels.

I have just bought a Superb 2016 L&K and did a VCDS scan and I have a problem with my drivers memory seat not working I have fault codes which I shall show below. I have gone into advanced measurements for the memory seat and have tested which buttons are active. The memory control switch has four buttons Set, 1, 2, 3. pressing button Set does nothing pressing button 1 I get active on 2 in the measurement list, pressing 2 occasionally is seen as active in 2 on the measurement list and pressing 3 I get active on 4 in the measurement list. I have taken apart the switch and put it it back together but no change. I am guessing a defective switch? I have tried moving the seat fully forwards , backwards and every other way and that changed nothing. Whatever button I push nothing happens ,tried to save to memory but again nothing.
