  1. is building a sub enclosure in the boot

  2. Like I said above, blue pipe from Air intake pipe connects using the silver connector to the SAI black tubing.... no need for the extra filters.... I have the same kit....
  3. If I were to do something like this I would probably just go for something like these : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/L0203-Black-2x-7-LCD-Cover-Headrest-DVD-Player-k3-/290515219809?pt=UK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_In_Car_Audio_Players_PP&hash=item43a40e7561#ht_10819wt_1139 easy to put in, my HU also has AV input and outputs so can wire all together.... But one with AVI/DIVx compatability is better.... like these : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2X-7-LCD-Car-Headrest-DVD-Player-Monitor-Twin-Screen-/350467906884?_trksid=p4340.m506&_trkparms=algo%3DNGRI%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D15%26pmod%3D290515219809%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D428479298379997216#ht_6322wt_1139
  4. I have one of these for the desktop, Xmas joke pressie from the kids.....
  5. One question really, temperature operating range of the foam? Not saying its not suitable, but something I would look into
  6. Thats alot of open/short circuits! What work has been done so far?
  7. Usually when these issues pop up it is a case of swapping the yellow and red wires over, many cars have different ignition colours and +12V. Curious about the door alarm indicator. Does it appear in either configuration?
  8. To be honest no, not really, but the Red filter effectively does nothing at all.
  9. This is wrong buddy... Take the Red filter off, take the silver one off, join the blue and black together using the silver adapter....
  10. is bored, time to bin the SAI, N249 and N112....

  11. Try using the Lite version of VCDS.... http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds-lite/download/index.html Let me know how this one goes... I do not think your connection will work with the latest variant.
  12. Obvious questions.... What version of VCDS you running? Have you cycled through the COM ports to make sure it definitely is connecting?? You may also need to change the COM port associated with the USB - Serial connector.
  13. Hallo hallo!

  14. Bored! Time to clean and recon the leather I suppose

  15. IT kept me busy for five minutes, all done.... Gotto wait till the 30th for the next one, :(
  16. Got mine booked in for the morning, four revision N's to change...... Got an R variant in the boot so thats all good.... Colchester Skoda, rang them at 5pm, they said bring it in at 8am tommorrow....
  17. Sorry to hear the news, best wishes to you and your family.
  18. P3130 = EGR Regulation Exceeded. In a nutshell this code means that not enough exhaust is flowing into the intake through the EGR valve and this could be caused by several things. I would check for leaks or a bad EGR valve diaphragm.
  19. Got similar fitted to mine, no probs on the install, no probs on performance... I found a small amount of bumper and inner wheel arch liner cutting was required, but all in all, easy days work to fit... I can do some logs of the intake temps if you wish to see how the cooling goes....
  20. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I think there is something wrong with me too, :(
  21. Yay! Back on the net after so long, need to play catch up with whats going on, the site is back up so all links are good again...
  22. Always recommended to get a diagnostic done, as you can narrow down the issue further... Just incidentally, when I bought mine, a coil pack was playing up, the car had been sat around not doing anything for a month so was complaining at me, I just took all the coil packs out, then put them back in.... Went out to buy a new one, bought it, and it is still sat in my boot brand new, coil pack never played up since....
  23. When I did mine, I didnt have to do anything to the grill inserts, the bumper on the other hand had a modest shave here and there....
