prices have definately gone up.......depends if you want the extra's. I paid 10k 15 month ago for mine from a dealer -07 plate-with 19000 miles but its a hatch and no leather or sat nav. there was a red estate same spec 57 reg for about 500 cheaper when i was looking,just as a comparison when i was looking petrol estates were taking ages to shift so maybe haggle.......the seats look great though

pity i missed it.......would ave been worth it to see simbos lillo action in the flesh........i wont even mention the fact i was back "home" in bradford on the day of the meet............. will look out for the next one

surely the car should have just given you room anyway.........sure there is somthing in the code about courtesey to other road users. i never know why car drivers get mad with cyclists. its not exactly hard to slow down give room then overtake when safe. too many people in too much of a hurry. :no:

I think thats the point i was making carl...............................the guy who responded clearly didnt want to be called a jock................some people just dont like it. my dad is scotish doesn't like the term jock but he doesn't mind Scot I dont think you are bigoted........dont know you to make that call, rather that using that term may (and has in this instance) caused offence. Its like me using a word begining with N for a bblack person or P for a person from Pakistan and thinking that no one will find it offensive. The N word is widely used......doesn't mean its not offensive. Using those terms can be seen as bigoted. ..................i'm sure 100% you didnt mean offence...........but someone took it.

you guys that have had wheels re rurbed and coloured..........a question. \\\did the wheels get coloured all over or do they just do part of the wheel.? Was thinking of getting mine done (black for a black car?) and a mate had em done by a local company who didnt colour the inside of the wheels. i still looks really good though. he had gun metal on silver golf. i thnk it was a company called smart auto solutions if anyone heard of em.

but the rs for skoda is really short for vrs "victor rallye sport".....at least in this country......... however i have seen european skoda's referred to as simply RS......if you look at clips on you tube they seem to be called rs.....also in Australia

what about those wheels mate? did you get them restored and coloured or are they an extra? i believe skoda do anthracite zeniths. like em.

dont know how much skoda charging for the cable to fit aux but ones frombelkin are about £15........but rubbish, broke quickly. i bought a curly lead (Griifin i think) for the same price and this seems better. apparently the usb to 3.5mm jack is better sound quality as there is some interference with the 3.5 to 3.5mm jack.

when i got mine a year ago they said that the 30 day exchange was if i wasn't happy with the car.......if it wasn't up to standard in any way i asked.......they said yep no qualms. this was before i had handed the money over mind but they were quite clear that i could exchange. when they sold you the car they didn't sell it to you as a faulty car and you wouldn't expect it to fail staright away so you should be entitled to exchange. Pick another one if you are not happy and take some legal advice from trading standards. a letter from them would add some weight. good luck

The mini is......well, small and therefore accelerates quicker. the power and Torque also comes in earlier which suggests you have to rev the vrs more to get the benefit. Id still have the vrs too.......you cant fit 4 people in comfort, loads of luggage and you will have a bigger hole in your pocket with the mini

wear on the outside not illegal unless a copper deemed it that bad it was dangerous. tread depth taken from the middle 3/4 of the tyre if i remember. Could be your tracking/ wheel alignment thats out-did you get wheels aligned when you got the tyres put on? Then again it could just be the tyre shredding tourque in the furby :wonder:

i got black. it looks great at night or when clean but quite subdued......partly whY i got it as didnt want unwanted attention anthracite looks good...............blue nice but too many, white or yellow for the wow factor. as said.......your choice, i went sensible but if i had the nuts would have got yellow
