  1. There's one bulb, a d3s that provides the illumination for head and dip there's no H7 at all, the powerbulbs site is wrong.
  2. The D3S does both head and dip, assuming you actually have xenon lights.
  3. I thought strength of tint was denoted by a letter on the glass, the further down the alphabet the darker the tint, anything below V was too dark for taxi work.
  4. My 21 car doesn't have those silver panels in the lights and output from both the indicators and reversing lights is impressive.
  5. Working for me, it regularly isn't, it's a pretty shoddy service.
  6. Doesn't do it for me unfortunately. I'm an old fashioned guy I like my chrome and bling.
  7. As in just changing the bulb? I think there are issues with the led being too long. I don't think it's worth the hassle as the gain in light output from the likes of an osram nightbreaker etc is just as good as an led. Changing the complete light unit is a marathon journey. I now have LEDs on my car and I found the xenon's to be every bit as good if not better.
  8. My iV is proving rattle free so far, the 191 TDI it replaced was starting to generate a good few rattles.
  9. I agree 100% I only have a short spin to work and back and even though it's very cold I started turning off the heater during these trips and I've noticed a massive improvement in battery range.
  10. If the 12V battery is low starting the engine is of little use as there's no alternator. It hasn't happened on mine but I do use hybrid mode occasionally.
  11. It's the PHEV (iV) he has so no S/S in the traditional sense.
  12. Does it show say 33 and then drops immediately to 22? I'm just using random figures. Is that what's happening? Have you done a mileage test to see what it's actually achieving? It could sit on zero range and exceed the predicted range during the test. It could easily be a fault with calibration needed.
  13. Actually I can’t take credit for the eBay bulbs, they were posted by another poster.
  14. Perfect I didn't doubt you but their dealer network leaves a lot to be desired, it's bad when they can't even tell you a bulb type. Did you check my links? The indicator bulbs are amazing, I'll never be hit in the back while stopped at a junction anyway🙂. The standard bulbs are shocking.
  15. I hope you're right I've just ordered these as the standard bulbs are dreadful 2x Canbus PWY24W PW24W 4014 LED Bulb For Audi A3 A4 A5 Q3 VW MK7 Golf CC Ford Fusion Front Turn Signal Lights,F30 3 Series DRL|Signal Lamp| - AliExpress I'm using these for the rear indicators they're absolutely fantastic 2pcs PY21W LED Canbus BAU15S Error Free LED No Hyper Flash Amber Yellow 7507 1156 LED No Error Bulbs For Turn Signal Lights 12V|Signal Lamp| - AliExpress I have these AUXITO BA15S P21W 1156 7506 LED Bulbs 4014 SMD LED Bulb Car Brake Lights Reverse Lamp For Toyota Hyundai Kia Lexus Mazda Nissan|Signal Lamp| - AliExpress in the box but am actually using these they aren't brilliant but much better than the original candles 2x 1200LM Canbus P21W 1156 BA15S LED Bulb Daytime Running Light DRL Lamp Bulbs | eBay I hope those links help you.
  16. I'm looking to find out what type of bulb is in the front, the stupid dealer couldn't even tell me. Yes the rear bulbs are what you have listed.
  17. Really they're saying what everyone here is telling you, predicted range is falling because winter is here and demand on the battery is high. What range are you actually getting from a charge? On my car it predicts 30km, I'm lucky to get 20.
  18. I haven't heard of shocks being refurbished in years. Unless they're going to use heavier oil you'll be back to the horrible wallowy yokes it started life with. I'd bite the bullet and get the new ones.
  19. My Superb with VC just shows 2 parallel lines, they turn orange if you drift too far right or left, a useless display really as the little lane assist symbol turns orange too.
  20. Using the heater, heated seats etc are the biggest killers. I’m not sure if the iv does it but heating the battery each time you start a journey really drains it, it’s a big problem with the id3 especially on cars doing short trips. The MG gets great reviews I don’t know how it will perform in colder weather, I’m sure there’s some guru on YouTube that will have all the details.
  21. The quickest way to get to it on the Columbus is select electric vehicle and then the settings cog. My battery life has gone so bad I'm considering letting the battery run down (won't take long) and just using petrol for the cold months. On reflection considering how much I paid for it I'm sorry I didn't go for the Id3
  22. You'll need to do a few journeys before the predicted range changes. I wouldn't be expecting much change as the temperature drops. The battery range in my Superb is dreadful and getting worse charge after charge I'm lucky to get 20km now.
  23. Set the slider to 0% which will give you maximum battery only range, it will take a few trips for the system to relearn the new arrangement. With the battery depleting to zero hybrid performance is very poor as there's no reserve. The slider is setting the amount of battery reserve available for hybrid driving. My last battery only trip only gave me 21km and that was with the slider on zero, cold weather and all town driving really hammer range. Sorry for being glib. I hope my post helps as the manual is terrible.
