when I fitted mine it took no more than 30 mins and then a couple of mins to code using vcds. Although I didn't run the mic to the factory location, just to the top of the drivers pillar but I don't think that would add much extra time.

I had no problems using it on chrome earlier in the week

the display should show the heating and from looking at the gti site the heated seats should still work

I have the milotec one on my vrs est and its been great so far at protecting the paintwork from my dogs

unless you've upgraded the pdc and sensors they'll not work with a retrofit columbus and therefore you can't alter the tones via the columbus unit. The most you can do is increase the volume with vcds but not much point as the music in your car will not quieten automatically. Think an ops upgrade may be my next major purchase

fiscon came today and took less than 20mins to fit. More than pleased with the result, full integration with the maxidot and columbus plus boost pressure and water temp on maxidot

I've ordered a fiscon basic plus instead, little more expensive than oem but should be just as easy to fit and code

I've tried searching but not managed to come up with an answer so far. Basically, I want to fit an OEM bluetooth but don't know which one to buy as there are so many different unit numbers. I have a pre-fl 58 vrs with maxidot and a retrofitted columbus. Can anyone help with the correct model numbers required Cheers Andy

never had mine connected except for set up and never been contacted about it, ths includes my multi room

I didn't have anything showing on the display prior to this. Regarding connection, I just used a crimp connection, and so far its been fine with no issues.
