2014 1.6TDi Spaceback - EGR fault P0403 - anybody removed and cleaned one ?
Hi Piph, I wasn't going to block it off completely (CAYB) just fit a gasket that had a smaller hole so the build up was slower, I have seen some looms that cancel/emulate the EGR when you fit a total blank but I don't fancy that, It looks like I will remove the EGR and cooler, split and clean it and look at fitting a separate crankcase/oil filter again to reduce the build up, It looks as though some of the gaskets are the same as my Scout (BMM) so I could buy one with a reduced hole size, I will give TPS a bell and see what they can offer, for clarification what's the device at the front of the engine just before the metal pipe from the EGR enters the inlet manifold -

2014 1.6TDi Spaceback - EGR fault P0403 - anybody removed and cleaned one ?
Thanks for that wino, I didn't know it would cause problems on the CR engine so thanks for the warning, I did start having a look on a website for manuals that's linked at the start of this forum but it stopped working as I was trying to download a guide, cheers Stuart

2014 1.6TDi Spaceback - EGR fault P0403 - anybody removed and cleaned one ?
Thanks Wino, I will have a look on you tube, are there any official guides for removing it, I did it on my Scout a few years ago and it was in the same place, do you know if there's any gaskets available with smaller holes in to restrict the flow ? Cheers Stuart

2014 1.6TDi Spaceback - EGR fault P0403 - anybody removed and cleaned one ?
Hi All, Our 1.6TDi CR Spaceback has pinged up P0403 intermittant malfunction 3 times over the last 3 years so I normally clear the faults with VCDS, so I am thinking of trying to sort it out, I know its at the back of the engine under the turbo so can I get to it by removing the intake ducting or will I have to get to it from underneath/back of the engine ? I have done a search but I carn't find anybody thats done it, are there any common faults that ping up with this fault code like blocked pipes ? and while i'm near there will anything else need cleaning ? cheers Stuart

Renault kangoo 2007 1.2 petrol trouble
Hi All, I am having trouble with my dads kangoo disabled van, I put VCDS on it in OBD2 mode and it came up with P0638 'throttle body actuator bank 1 J338 implausible signal' so we removed the throttle body inlet valve and cleaned it up, drilled out the rivets holding the cover and checked inside as there's a motor and a hall effect sensor, hopefully reset its home position and it tan for a bit but then flagged up with a MIL with the same fault, again I checked it out inside the TB and it looks fine, trouble is renault have an extra letter on the end of the fault code to narrow it down to an actual component which VCDS doesn't show. Anybody worked on this fault ? Cheers Stuart

Heater problem
Does the car reach normal temp as in gauge in the middle ? It could be one of the flap motors in the dash and if so you need to run diagnostics on the car, see if anybody near you has VCDS.
