  1. I did some 'listening' to my engine today and I can tell that it's not the black box, it's like DGW said, the injectors that makes the 'ticking' sounds (sounds like a whole bunch of old watches ticking ). Today they sounded more normal, I don't have a clue to why they sound different at different times but they're supposed to do that. Otherwise something would be really wrong. The only thing I can refer to is that my car is Revo'd with 4bar FPR software, so the fueling is slightly different from the original 3bar FPR 'stock' software. Cheers, FD
  2. I'm pretty sure it's all the same hoseing in the K03sport turbos, only that each engine has something that differs from the others (the air inlet as you said Chrille). The AUQ engine is not used by the TT 180bhp, but by the vRS and the Seat Leon 20VT. /FD
  3. I liked the first movie, the legendary Fast & the Furious, and the sequal should be just as great you may think... Well, it was a little different than the first one, but I can only say it has loads of interesting cars, Nissan Skyline etc. Worth to be seen (if you're a car maniac) The story is ok, the actors are ok and the cars are excellent (10/10) Cheers, FD
  4. I didn't think of it before but your performance must be in the region of a 330 Beemer (and hopefully better). Tell us more when You've done some 'roadtesting'. /FD
  5. Hi Isaac, I use the Skoda dealer's oil that comes with variable service interval. I checked my oil and it seems to be just fine, so I don't think it could be the oil. Cheers, FD
  6. Sounds great Mark, what did Jabba change on your car? Just a remap or was it more involved? Now you must be more sensible with the driving, with all those 232,8bhp you've got !! Enjoy your 'new' car. Cheers, FD
  7. That's strange Turbo_Boss, it should have the AUM engine. It sounds like either VAG or Skoda is exporting old engines on Skoda cars outside the EU!? Cheers, FD
  8. Welcome to Briskoda and congratulations on your purchase of the nice red vRS. I've got the silver vRS myself, driving around for about 1,5 year now Nothing to complain about, simple driving with a huge grin on my face. Cheers, FD
  9. Anyone got a weblink or something to watch the specs on the 1.8T AUQ-engine injectors? Cheers, FD
  10. Congratulations Huck !! /FD
  11. You're probably right Denis, I just noticed they ticked a little louder today then the other day. No clue to why though.
  12. Ian, why don't you e-mail it to Skoda-Auto? Might give you a job as a designer Cheers, FD
  13. I'm one of those people that like to overexamine things with the engine or other parts of the car. When I did a little engine-trekkin' today I noticed that the camshafts sounded a little louder. The 'ticking' sounds sounded louder. The other day it didn't sound THAT high, more normal sound. The only difference between "the other day" and today was the weather. The other day it was raining and the temp was around 15C, today it was sunny and 25C. Could it be the temperature difference or? Cheers, FD
  14. I'm not categorizing SUV's and ordinary cars, allroad etc. I just think I'd be nice with a larger model program for Skoda. Here you got KIA, a newcomer, and they've got a SUV model. Why cannot VAG start something new for Skoda and introduce one SUV and one allroad, aswell as a sportier car like the Tudor coup
  15. If it should be for the badge, why is KIA manufacturing their SUV's? And just to add for those that already know or do not, Skoda has been around for about 100 years in the car industry so they CAN build a car or a SUV or an allroad. Let's assume Skoda manufactures the SUV or the allroad, and it gets a lot of publicity in the independant roadtests etc (like the vRS), I'd say that people would think "hey, why pay so much for a BMW or an Audi when I get all that in a cheap Skoda. Before the vRS, I doubted for the brand Skoda. Now I don't, i love my vRS to bits. Skoda is good, it's reputation still isn't though. Cheers, FD
  16. If Skoda had a real allroad or a SUV I'd be the first one to buy one. I'd trade my vRS without a blink of an eye !! The 4x4 Octy is amazing, but this would be even more impressive. /FD
  17. Isn't it time for Skoda to add a new model to it's limited range of models? Why not a Skoda SUV, based on the Touareng or Cayenne platform. Too expensive I hear you think , but it would be a Skoda so it's supposed to be a little cheaper than the other VW-brands. If the SUV model sound a little too much, why not introduce an "allroad quattro" model? In my own oppinion it would be a real facelift for the Skoda brand. Don't you agree? Cheers, FD
  18. Time to trade the vRS for the Superb? Cheers, FD
