Dazza replied to g7pkf's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
If your insurer is the big supermarket beginning with T**** then my son had a write off of an escort and he got a very good offer for the first time - like 20% more than Parkers etc said. Questioned them and got a further -
Fabia vRs Owners in Leeds/Bradford Area?
Dazza replied to ChrisRs's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Live in Leeds - Woodlesford/Rothwell area 05 - Silver Furby vRS - already 14K miles on clock One of EddyH's gratfull VAG COM Customers - cheers Eddy -
Got my Furby 01/03/2005 and I an on my second recover of the front driver's seat (done 14K miles though) under warranty. My dealer says he is fed up of replacing covers some customers are on version 5 or 6 - Rubbing up caused by the way I get in i.e sit slighly sideways and spin legs in. Just had back seats recovered as the cloth did not fit around the tilt catch and all the foam was exposed.

After "acquiring" a copy last week of TT3 - I got a copy of TT5 this week. Installed fine - one or two problettes. It is quite good although the software is not much better than TT3, but the maps are more upto date and the Camera database function is built in - don't need CheckPOInt 2/3. Says my speedo is 5 mph High!

My furby is silver and doing the miles I do I get lots of chips. The Skoda touch up pen is an excellent match and done right the chips/scrathes disappear.

Just back from a week in Portugal and had to drive a Rover Streetwise 1.4L - What a pile of pooh!!! No go in it, rattles, poor air con, which when it is 35-40 deg C you really need. If this is an example of what Rover were selling when they went down then I now understand. Couldn't wait to take my Furby out for a blast this morning, I'm happy again

The government once talked about bringing in USA Style drive in any lane rules that allowed "undertaking" I think this is the cure Any thoughts guys?

Good reason for being in MY town. Just ask next time and I will sort you a visa out. I cannot do with too many cool Skodas in Leeds while I'm around. Glad the project went well and you enjoyed your visit. I like your shopping centre in MK - BTW. Go down on Business and drop SWMBO off at the shops - costs a fortune though!!! -
Very easy fix for those annoying automate customer service systems. DON'T PRESS ANY BUTTONS - confuses the life out of them and they have to put you thru to a human He He!!!

This has got a lot worse since my last post. Now the left side grey bit and the Black seat are both rubbing up. Taken it back to the dealer who says "pilling" is a known problem and is ordering replacement. Watch out for this on new cars. It can only be seen clearly in daylight, not very visable in un-natual light

Be careful of DMK - do not like or trust them and I live just up the road from Leeds Showroom
