  1. I would change the pair and I would put genuine ones on. The bush will wear causing different characteristics to the other side Genuine because of bad previous experience with non genuine parts, especially wishbones not being the exact right size causing tracking problems. Your money though...
  2. Hey guys, I have the emissions light on, scanned vagcom and it states: Engine coolant temp sensor P1256. Soooo a new sensor needed. It's at the rear of the block, it looks black and has two wires going into it. My vrs is a 2004. Looking on darkside developments site I have a few options and I'm confused. Any ideas? I think it's the grey two pin one... http://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/sensors/
  3. If you have the kit you don't cut any wires, you just need to plug the white one into either an extended wire to ecu or pin behind the clocks.
  4. I suspect not. My 2004 VRS is going at same point :( I will try skoda and their anti corrosion warranty first.

  6. They fit fine. I bought same ones and panicked, telephoned the seller. They went on just fine no issues at all.
  7. Hold down mileage reset, turn ignition on but don't let go of mileage button, continue holding for 10 seconds.
  8. Just reset it manually and keep an eye out for the next service interval yourself. Mine has done similar in the past.
  9. Subframe loose OR big main bolt through wishbone into the mount. It was the latter on mine, needed to be done FT
  10. My mate has just bought a used 2008 Audi S5. The blowers blow just hot air, constantly. Temp control motor has bust. Whole dash needs to come out, certainly not DIY. No specialist will touch it. Audi is it. Well over 1k repair. Look at those clips and sealant and smile at the cost to DIY. No used car is safe.
  11. Front callipers ok post crash and if so do you still have them?
  12. It ll certainly help but ultimately you re still a target for car key burglary or jacking :( unfortunately the courts take tomv and twoc lightly.
  13. No criminal worth his weight in salt would use a diesel fabia. Nor would police target one unless it had been driven through halfords ripspeed backwards. The only cars I target at work are Mazda mps,s Audi s/rs and majority of bmws post 2007. They account for the majority of stolen cars. Then there's the local bag head cars that get passed around.
  14. Front 18mm wishbone bolt needs tightening. Guarantee it m!
  15. Also check the large 18mm front wishbone bolt is TIGHT. Mine needed 2 extra turns for the creaking to go.
  16. It's not in my tapatalk either, how odd hah. It's 295 ono
