  1. Hi Anna, I'm sure you'll find a lot of helpful information here on Brisky, but you might also want to consider Googling something like "Older Yetis - what to expect"

Thanks for posting, Colin. I looked into Tuk ownership myself a few years ago - and for similar reasons (the f- word!). Although I didn't research Tuks as deeply as you have, I came to a similar conclusion - particularly in respect of their legality in the UK. Maybe nothing will ever be as much fun as an A10 combo. Mine had a Busmar York sidecar on a Watsonian chassis.
  3. Mine's an SE Drive and came with front and rear parking sensors. I think they're standard fit on all Drive models.

I'm 68, have a clean licence, no health issues and almost 50 years NCB. I shop around for insurance every year and the Little Red Telephone continues to be competitive, but I would have to move away from Brum to get the premium below £400.
  5. Hi B1ackb1rd, A few Yeti owners have traced a "rumble" to badly adjusted tailgate stops, which allow the tailgate to rattle in the closed position. It might be worth winding them out a couple of turns to see if it makes any improvement. Good luck mate - rattles/rumbles are notoriously hard to pinpoint.
  6. I still miss my Roomster Scout - the best car I have owned in 50 years of motoring.
  7. I went the other way - from Roomster(s) to Yeti. I love my Yeti and there is no other car currently available (from any manufacturer) that I like more. But I consider my Roomster Scout 1.9tdi the best car I have owned in fifty years of motoring. It was comfortable and flexible, and it would take all my camping gear. It also moved a split base double bed, mattress and two bedside cabinets in one trip. It also had the fixed pano roof, which I miss dreadfully. Sadly, the return of an old knee injury forced me to part-exchange my Scout for another Roomster with DSG. My Roomster SE 1.2 DSG was a nice enough car but I found the (softer) driver's seat far less comfortable than the Scout and I was unable to drive it for more than half-an-hour before the discomfort became unbearable. One of my biggest criticisms of the Yeti is that the spare wheel lies on top of the floor and takes up an enormous amount of boot space. The spare wheel on the Roomster is let into the floor and takes up no boot space. If Yeti and Roomster Scout were still available new, I would choose the Roomster in a heartbeat.
  8. I have one similar to this. The actual model I have seems no longer available. It worked a treat when the three-year-old Moll on my Yeti died (replaced under warranty). And yes... +ve to battery terminal and -ve to body earth bonding post. https://www.amazon.co.uk/BUTURE-Starter-20000mAh-Portable-Battery/dp/B083NVVXV2/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&hvadid=80264380400177&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=18000mah+jump+starter&qid=1592727789&sr=8-1-spons&tag=mh0a9-21&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExTFJaNjJZTFU3WDFNJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNTU2MTQzMjQwWUk2UjFJTkpYUyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMzI2MTI4MkcwMkg4NVZBU1JYWSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
