  1. Not sure what a dte is and am not sure why you're addin things to other things to get an estimate and god only knows what fulley is! Use the vent - brim your tank - drive around - brim your tank - do the sums = no fannying about!
  2. The OP asked specifically about the "button" and I explained - not once suggesting that it would or could improve mpg! The OP also posted that he filled up with 32 litres having done 320 miles hence why I posted that hd attained 45.7mpg!
  3. The button is inside the neck of the fuel filler. It's a little knob thingy which you push with the fuel nozzle which vents the expansion tank which means you can get over 50 litres in the tank if you're empty enough
  4. If you've done 320 miles and have put in 32 litres then your mpg is 45.7!
  5. Mine will hit 185k tomorrow
  6. We're you anywhere near the North Pole when this occurred? ;-)
  7. Neither of mine are (one being the Wife's) and i have no intention of mapping them mainly due to my starship mileage count and i don't really want spend good money on turning a not particularly fast car into a slightly quicker not particularly fast car
  8. My Turbo is still plodding along at 184k Steady away from cold but not excessively so - as for cool down = no. Pull up and switch off
  9. I use my CC daily and check my MPG at every fill up so am well qualified to answer the fuel consumption debate - If i'm looking to save fuel then i do not use CC and have the little screen thing set to live mpg so i can see how my throttle inputs are affecting efficiency. The best i've seen on a run has been 53 mpg using CC, doing the same run using the throttle to chase mpg has seen 61mpg.
  10. ..........after my post on May at 171k, now on 181k and still going strong
  11. Mine's stood up quite well - 181k on original clutch, gearbox, turbo exhaust and battery
  12. Toyo Proxes 4 are the worst tyre bar none i have ever used - currently have them on my car now and i would be better off running slicks in the wet. I only bought them as i could not get hold of any Toyo T1-R's at the time. I've ran T1-R's on a 330bhp Scoob, Clio 172, Lotus Elise and my VRS with a combined total of around 130,000 miles and i would not think twice about having another set. Biggest plus point = wet weather performance
  13. Why the need for windows that open/close on the remote?
  14. 178k here. Still on factory, clutch, turbo, exhaust and pretty much everything else other than consumables
  15. I've got 2, 04 and a 56 plate but notice no difference what so ever in power. The 04 has 178k and does 80 miles a day up and down the M1 mostly sat on cruise @ 90 and returns a calculated 48mpg. It is still on it's first clutch, turbo, exhaust and battery so is testament to the longevity that can be had from these cars if plenty of mway miles are in the mix.
  16. Gotta be a 330d next. Unfortunately my daily commute does not allow for anything really cheeky
  17. Like i said - my issue was very much down to the worn bush. The car has done 175k miles mostly on T1R's and always running 205/45/16 with pressures checked weekly as i cover 4-500 miles every week.
  18. Can't really remember if it was the same all the way round! 24k is no problem out of a set of T1Rs depending on your daily commute. Between my 2 VRS's I have covered 170k miles mostly on T1Rs so plenty qualified to comment
