Windscreen Severely Misting Up Or Creating Film On The Inside Of The Windscreen
Just try this in your bathroom's mirror. Then you will see that after a hot bath / shower there will be no mist on the mirror. I tried it on our mirror before tried it in the car as I had the same worries as you. So this is my advise, try it on your bath's mirror or at a small square are at the windscreen that is out of your immediate eye perspective like the upper corner of passenger's side.

Coolant Leakage Issue
Hi Burhan. I had a coolant leak and it was from the thermostat housing. After changing it everything is fine.

Bridgestone Weather Control A005
Yes I did. Especially during summer time

Bridgestone Weather Control A005
It was CrossClimate plus. Before them I had Continentals premium contact 2 (if I recall correctly) from factory and then Pirelli Cinturato P1 Verde. Contis were like suction cups for the first 20.000 Kms then they started to loose performance very rapidly and they started to get a soapy surface and changed them at 40.000Kms. Then Pirellis were excellent summer tyres but in case of snow it was a nightmare. Excellent grip and breaking performance especially on wet roads. They were on the car for about 90.000Kms and I changed them because they had a lot of tread remaining but they got so stiff at the second half of year four, they were like train wheels on tarmac. Amazing time for playing with car on empty parking lots the last days of their life. If my parents and my wife's parents were at the same city we live I would kept fitting summer tyres, but having to travel over 200Kms in winter time in different directions in northern Greece, all weathers are the best solution in my case.

Bridgestone Weather Control A005
Until mid of October we had temps above 25 degrees centigrade. Today we have 15. A005 were fitted end of summer and until end of September we had some over 32C. I would like to see how they will do when summer temps will reach 38 to 40 degrees.

Bridgestone Weather Control A005
Indeed very strange. Both me and my friend agree with you. But as I said they are great all year tyres with very good overall performance and very good tear and wear attitude. They tend to wear similarly and have a slow pace of wear. I like driving at 100Kph to 120Kph (60 to 75 mph) in all kind of tarmac roads (free ways or good quality rural roads) and 60kph to 80kph(ca. 35 to 50 mph) in tight rural roads, always putting my and other road users safety on top and adjusting my speed accordingly. On these speeds I base my report.

Bridgestone Weather Control A005
The same as I reported above. He found them to be not that grippy on dry roads no matter winter or summer, beyond that they are above average for a family driving style. Both in Roomster and Logan they tend to spin when pulling from a slightly inclined intersection (just an example) or giving the feeling of loosing the traction / orbit on stiff corners. --Edit--- I am Greek and thus my English may sounds like Greek to you. I try to do my best but... ---End of edit---

Bridgestone Weather Control A005
I had crossclimates in my previous Roomster 1.2 77KW Tsi, at 195/55/15. Not a complaint and even I got uphills on a rural road with few cm of snow. Not like a winter tyre but never got stuck. For a weird reason they were slipping on summer dry roads while gripped very well on wet roads. Now in my current MK1 Octavia estate 4x4 1.8T, I am on A005s at 205/55/16 since the last days of August. I feel them performing better that Michelins all around but due to covid lockdown I missed the first snow on mountain roads. So no idea how they are going to grip in snow. Yes I know two totally different cars, but what I mentioned about Michelins I was told by a friend of mine for having them fitted on a Dacia Logan pick up.

Bulb changing help...
It will be a huge difference to the best side. Of course they will never be like leds but they are a huge improvement. I even asked my technician to raise the beam just right above the cars' upper limit. That was my way to see and be seen without blinding the oncoming traffic.

00706 fault code (coolant fan)
Try to clean the contacts with a contact spray cleaner. If this does not solve your problem maybe a new fan switch may be needed. If so see if you kept your receipt from the one you put last year to ask for warranty replacement.

Why oh why did I sell my beautiful MK1.
Back in 2002 I bought an 1.6 hatch and sold it at 2010 having only 57.000Km on the clock. Since day 2 I owned the hatch I dreamed of an 1.8T 4x4 estate. A Fabia 1.2HTP came, then both cars were traded in for a 1.2Tsi Roomster back in 2010. This September I sold my Roomie and bought my dream car. My beautiful oldie. It took me only 18 years to fulfil my dream. Now I need a front door speaker to replace and we are all set. So if anyone has any original working speaker I would be grateful to send it to me in Greece, no need to mention that I mean not for free. I want a factory one as I want to keep her as factory stated as it gets. The strange thing is that I love even her scratches, dings and dents.

engine rattle on start-up
Mine used to had that rattling and I changed the timing chain just in case as I was told that it was a timing chain prolongation issue. After fitting the new chain that sound stopped for about 35.000Kms. Then started again. Then after a lot of searching I found out that parking the car with a gear engaged in the gear box, mine was manual and I used to always put first gear when parking my car, for some reason allowed the timing chain tensioner to totally drain from oil and thus the rattling was occasionally back. Since then i never let a gear engaged in the gear box while parking and this rattling never occurred again.

Front fog lights
There is no pre installed harness there, so you need to install wires as well.
-
Roomster Window Motor Replacement
Check the boot's harness as well for rear wiper issues.

**Door lock actuating with window switch
Try driver's side. 8 out of 10 times there's the culprit.

Windscreen Severely Misting Up Or Creating Film On The Inside Of The Windscreen
Try to apply some shaving gel and then wipe it out with a paper towel. It wipes out a bit difficult but prevents fogging from moisture.

Roomster 2014 1.2 TSI (CBZB engine) – Cam chain wear measurement.
I really do not know why they put the tensioner too high. This results the lack of tensioning force. Regarding the parking a manual car with gear engaged leads tensioner to loose the remaining oil thus its tensioning capacity during the first seconds of engine start up. Then this rattle occurs until the tensioner gets filled up with oil. I had never had that rattle noise when I left car parked with neutral and handbrake no matter the level of the ground nor the days left parked, while leaving car parked with gear engaged in many cases led to a rattling start up. I have no idea if you can leave an automatic car parked only with handbrake and if the P selection in DSG means that some gear stays engaged leading the tensioner loosing the oil. Maybe this is why your new tensioner is a bit longer and maybe this is why 4mm makes that difference. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic but just an enthusiast.

Roomster replacement
Well I changed mine. I had to as a need of 4x4 came up to family. So I sold the Roomie that grew up my children and served us for 10 years and 153.000Km and bought a used MK1 2003 Octavia 1.8T 4x4 Estate / Combi (1U5) having 178.000km on clock from a private seller. Unfortunately there is no chance for buying a brand new car. It was a very interesting decade being part of the Roomster section of Briskoda. Roomsterians are amazing bunch of fellas, kind and helpful thus I will keep visiting this corner of Briskoda. I would like to thank you all for all help you gave to me.
