The garage have confirmed that it is the lower wishbone nut that has come loose. Unfortunately, it is a captive nut in the subframe. So it needs a new subframe! I won't get the car back until middle of next week! Only had the car three weeks:mad:

It looks as though it has xenon's and headlamp washers in addition to heated seats. :(

I have a clonking noise when starting off and changing gear and when braking. It feels as though there is slack being taken up, it can also be felt through the steering as well as the pedals when going over bumps slowly. Booked in for Thursday but does anyone have an idea what it could be?

My RS is fitted with Continentals.

My CC is 500% better than our previous car (Renault Scenic) it cools down perfectly and the fan is very good. I can understand why it would be better on the motorway as you would get more heat disippated across the condenser at speed. The greater the heat rejection the better it will be inside for the evaporator. If you are getting no cooling or very little get it checked out. Climate control will not affect the cooling it is just a means of controlling the temperature automatically.

I like the lemon Coke, not tried the Vanilla one yet. Somehow can't get round the idea of drinking coke and eating an ice cream at the same time:confused:

There is a black Superb just up the road from me (Kentish?) looks good, had a look in the local showroom - seems a very nice car. Now to find a taxi and see how nice it is to ride as a passenger:D

Often in a convoy of mini's every May it is the London to Brighton. 2000 mini's on route and they take up the whole of Madeira Drive. Some more mini meets coming up:D A convoy has gotta be done:drive1: :drive1: :drive1:

Does anyone know if this can be retrofitted?

I know I'm a newbie and will not be able to answer any techy questions, but this site is full of useful information kindly posted by others. I will probably not post a great deal but if I have any questions or can help someone out I will. I am a member of another forum (quite actively) and they are a great bunch always helping etc. so I do not feel totally new and appreciate the difficulties of a new person joining. Nothing wrong with Medway (Lordswood) even though they have shut Lordswood Lane today (probably to make the speed bumps higher Lots of free events throughout the year!

I've been looking in for a few weeks now. Before I decided to take the plunge...anyway I am now the proud owner of an Octavia vRS. Very pleased even though it is not yet a week old and it is red. :drive1:
