  1. That's an odd thing to happen, i keep cars for a long time, 10yrs or more and never had anything like that. Is it fraying in just one place, or all along? 🤔
  2. TAKE TWO. Yes it does, went out again, with a tape measure, measured outside of window which showed it should fit. A bit of force, in it went, dont know if I'll get it out again. 🙄
  3. I have just got some Laitovo shades for a Octavia Scout Estate. All the side window fit fine, but the rear window, the shade looks too big, does anyone know if it has to be forced in? 🤔
  4. Yellow and white. I found i needed to double sided tape the outside edges of the surround as i didn't like them sticking out.
  5. J177. Wino, if you dont know, nobody will. 😊
  6. Hi M, when my door loom went, it didn't give a warning light for the airbag or anything else, things just stopped working, like windows.
  7. Hi M, i have a Eriba 320gt. Its not a big van but i got it when i had a 1.9tdi Roomster manual. 60mph on cruise control on the motorway, you just have to sit there and steer(ok there's a little more to it) but you get what i mean.
  8. I got a Scout Auto last year purely because the right ups were so good about them. They were top for towing in one of the caravan mags for three years running. Towing is so easy, mine changes gear up and down exactly when needed. One guy on another post on this site said, towing with these is so easy you have to remember sometimes that your towing, some thing like that. I manged to get one with a car designated tow bar. Anyway thats my take.
  9. I lost my locking nut adapter. Went to local dealer, within 15mins they had removed all the lock nuts and fitted new ones. 👍
  10. My 2008 Roomster is still going strong, i had it from new, gave it to my son and family when their car went kaput. They've just had mot done, and it went straight through, no problem. I did one or two things to it, to suit me. My main problem was the door harness, fitted that myself. I only past it on because i went back to caravaning, otherwise i would still be driving it. Brill car.
  11. Fair enough G. You didn't say the cover was loose in your post. It shouldn't be a problem to fix then. 👍
  12. Have to agree with Roottoot. Space savers weigh a ton, i got one for my Roomster, and was going to sell a full size alloy, decided to keep the alloy. Ask people how many times they have used a spare, me in the last 25yrs, once. Still like to have one.
  13. Could just be a stone got lodged in there, you'll know more when you take the wheel off.
  14. Hi S, i used Ds2500 on my other car for about 8yrs, worked well from cold, which was my biggest concern. Only drawback was brake dust.
  15. You wouldn't say no, if someone wanted to give you one. 😊
  16. I dont remember specifying Scout when i got mine off ebay. I'll try and look back on purchases. Just looked, yes was specific to Scout. Just put it in ebay C.
  17. Hi B, have bin trying to think back to when i fitted mine. I "THINK 🤔" what you have is what is used for the fitting of the HIDs, but the original is the same, but with no gap to let the wires of the HIDs go through. If that makes sense. HIDs have the wires fitted to the bulbs. Originals, put bulb in, then plug, in back of bulb.
  18. I recently purchased a car, i thought the wheels were ok, but after three months they started to niggle at me. Changed them , made me feel a lot happier. Wheels can make a big difference to how you feel about a car. Just look at the new electric Mini wheels. 😯
  19. Hi M, with that year of car it could be broken wires going through to door.
  20. Hi M, what years your car? 🤔
  21. There you go, its not all doom and gloom. 😊🎉
