  4. Here is the report supplied by Iain Sorry no before pics - whole host of excuses- none of which you will want to hear. the main concern for the customer was the interior - "its minging" he said on the phone. So, thats where I started. A damn good vac out, making sure to get into all the small areas, under the seats, centre console etc. this was then followed by the floor mats being cleaning with 1001 and an upholstery brush. my new extractor should be here tomorrow, so hopefully wont have to keep working by hand. All hard plastics were then cleaned with Interior cleaner, before the seats got cleaned. The glass was cleaned with Stoners invisble Glass. Inner door shuts were cleaned with DP Booster spray. With the interior finished I started on the outside. Wheels first. A good PW rinsing, followed by a healthy spray of Pinnacle Wheel gel. Cleaned the inners with the EZ detail brush, front edges with a wheel sponge. Following a good rinse I then snow foamed the car before using a lambswool wash mitt and the Pinnacle Bucket with grit guard. Rinsed and then dried with a Cobra Guzzler Drying towel. The car then had a layer of DW Wet Wet Wet wax, tyres dressed with Highstyle. Iain has taken some pics but the links do not seem to be working. I will edit and add as soon as possible I am really pleased with the results I would recommend Iain if like me you are short of time to do your own car:thumbup:

  8. By following the simple advice I heard on the radio yesterday, I have finally found inner peace: The phone in show was talking about the potential damage to our health of the stress we have in our lives.* Dr Phil proclaimed "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started but never finished." So, this morning, I looked around my house to see all the things I had started and hadn't finished and before leaving the house, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin, a packet of Jaffa cakes, the remainder of an old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates............You have no idea how bloody good I feel!!!!* The man is a genius! Please pass this on to those you feel might be in need of inner peace
  9. could possibly be tempted with this dependant upon full price etc ......
  10. If the Pug was over the stop line they would be legitimately allowed to continue their turn. If you say the other car went through on amber, then, as already stated amber means stop unless it is unsafe to do so i.e. you have a 40 tonne artic in your tail pipes. Def NOT 50:50 I would say other car driver has a lot to answer to including Fail to Comply ATS and a good due care
  11. Just Caught up after being away .... mine does not have the insulation. How did you get on Rob at the stealers?
  12. mine is the same also ... perhaps if they do rub through Skoda will be liable for re-upholstery?
  13. No need for unlock code O2 works on any network
  14. The hazard lights are exempted as they signify a danger to other road users (emergency stop on motorway can be dangerous to others ) In the UK The brake lights must be constantly illuminated .... there is some discussion over variable intensity brake lights ie the harder you brake the brighter they get but nothing definte as yet.

  16. Hi guys, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if your 3rd brake light pulses/strobes/flashes or any other type of non continuous illuminantion then you will fall foul of this piece of wonderfully easy to understand legislation........ 19. Ian I totally agree I have lost count of the number of times I have wathed the thieving scr0tes walk out of court with a slap on the wrist! It is about time that the Magistrates handed out decent punishments (or the Government allowed them to!)
  20. Unless the vehicle has valid VEL (tax) MOT AND insurance if you are stopped you will earn yourself at least 6 points and a nice fine. My advice would be to use a trailer.
