Since you're here, you're probably wondering who i am. I don't feel guilty about writing lots of boring stuff here because only the really bored will find it... :giggle:

I'm Craig, I'm 25. I live with my (long sufferring) GF Monika, in our wee house just outside Motherwell (it's near Glasgow!). One day we'll get married but i'm a bit scared to go for it so it's been put back a couple of times due to erm, circumstances *cough* *cough* :p

I work as a Unix SysAdmin (that's not really true but its the closest thing to what i do :giggle: ) for my day job. Work in a slightly senior role with a very good American company in their Glasgow offices (still holding out for a jolly business trip to the Sydney offices though :giggle: ).

Current hobbies are fixing cars, driving cars, cleaning cars etc. etc. I used to not be interested in cars but past few years i've turned into a bit of a petrol head :thumbup:

Previous hobbies: R/C plane & helicopter flying crashing, Cycling, Golf and a few other things. I still do them all to varying degrees. I have a love / hate relationship with DIY & working around the house.

This is my first Skoda, i really like it. I've been taken aback by the similarities between my 12 year old Golf and my new Octavia (actually it's only the way the engine is mounted and the interior light switch they share :giggle: but it seemed significant!). I'm still a BMW man at heart ;)

I've never modded a car before, only ever worked to restore them to factory condition before, but i bought this partly on the knowledge that they can be modded for not astronomical amounts of mullah :thumbup:
