  1. Id wonder what the condition of the rest of the car was if they had thrown odd tyres at it , ? Part worn from a scrapper

  3. My sat nav in the kamiq wants ne to get on the motorway all the time but I can't find how to get it to go the shortest route as I can in the van can anyone help me please
  4. I think so , we got our car in November 22 and it has static at the front and dynamic at the rear

Just had to replace the locking wheel nuts after changing the winter wheels over , obviously put on by someone with an air ratchet and when I stood on the spanner it wobbled of rounding off the wiggly indentation, luckily the nut was loose now replaced with a more substantial set but it seems to me that the original set are very poor and glad that I wasn't stuck on a wet dark motorway
  6. I had a look and mine is only fastened by 1 screw in the side so should be easy to fix if you can find the bit of plastic

  8. Probably linked we had a vw campervan and the stop start function wouldn't work turns out the high level brake light was out stopping the other functions
  9. Doesn't ford stand for "fix or repair daily ". Perhaps like fiat" fix it again tomorrow "
  10. Don't feel that it's dangerous but a bit odd when it tells me to take control of the steering when I have both hands on the wheel

We have had our 1500 for 3 months and it seems fine , the rear camera gets dirty quickly and the front sensors get covered in snow and stop working until cleared, but it's easy to drive and the first automatic we have had , comfortable for the 350 mile journey we did at Christmas, thought that the seats would fold flat but the squab is fixed but not a serious problem
  12. I had a practice this morning and lo and behold we do have a manual box as well thanks to warrior 193 but some markings would have been useful as would an explanation when we bought it new
  13. We also have an automatic 1.5 but where is the manual gear box. ? We seem to have a lever which has p/ r/ n/d and option of s or d but no manual option

  15. I think 49 to the gallon is fine and not that far off my diesel scout . So many variables

  17. Mine has always been excellent in the snow up here in the Scottish highlands including today
  18. i would have changed the tyre by now and not be driving on it
  19. my pickup used to do this it was nothing to do with the switch. the " groove " that the glass runs in gets dry or dirty and affects the pinch safety setting, a small dab of rubber grease or even wd 40 sorted it out
  20. went to check my scout oil filler cap after reading your post it was stuck a little but once freed was fine perhaps the heat sort of glued it on. didnt need mole grips though
  21. i know i havnt a superb but my parents local fitter had no problem fitting a towbar with a flange fitting to my 4x4 scout 7 pin electrics and the reverse sensors work correctly £ 250
  22. double vision in grantown on spey mine is the one on 15 inch steels courtesy of a site member but still no snow in the highlands
  23. just moved up to the highlands from west yorkshire where the paramedic responders at work there use and abuse the scouts and talking to them they were full of praise for them. bought one new bought winter tyres and wheels for the cold winters and its 8 deg on christmas day! whats the point of being up here with no snow.to date it seems fine nothing gone wrong tyre noise may be a little intrusive but that all. just bring some snow please
