  1. The dealer has someone they use to powder coat alloys. Originally wanted matterhorns but was easier and cheaper getting wheels done.
  2. Thanks. It is an elegance with a few extras. Wheels are powder coated black to match the roof
  3. Thanks joxroach.......was surprised myself when I got the call to say it arrived. Collecting it tomorrow lunchtime.
  4. Mine arrived Monday and am hopefully collecting it Saturday Ordered it 21st july so just short of two months
  5. Took a quick pic of this while I was down viewing my yeti Was the colour the wife wanted if we stuck with another Vrs.........not so sure on it now ive seen it
  6. Waiting on delivery of a yeti here after engine change of our fabia
  7. Defo chase the dealer for a car as you shouldn't be put out by length of time with repairs. We had an automatic ford focus with all the toys for over a week while our engine was getting replaced and skoda uk footed the bill.
  8. Those guys getting new engines fitted........keep an eye on your starter motors as mine came loose after 1500 miles Both bolts almost fully out (can find it below the airbox hose on right hand side)
  9. Done approx 1500 miles in mine since the engine was replaced and its not used a drop of oil so looks good for the next owner come the end of September
  10. That's why I've traded mine in before the 3yr point..........no confidence in the car now and want shot before the warranty runs out.
  11. that's the wheels she wants but we were told they weren't available to buy :wonder:
  12. will see how it goes once it arrives just trying to sort out the wheel colour at the moment as wifey wants black wheels which skoda don't do on yetis
  13. not yet though will give them a bell about it. Falkland performance are next to the wifes work so can also see them. Thanks.
  14. Who's yours remapped with bossfox? Been looking at a 180bhp remap through revo for our 110 diesel
  15. Just ordered a yeti elegence at the weekend there and was told 10/12 weeks for delivery so quite happy here if it comes nearer 1st Sept. Wife has lost all confidence in the vrs after its engine change recently so wants shot of it
  16. Lol....sorry. Trying to do to many things at once here. Engine was running rough throughout rev range, epc light/eml light would pop on when any throttle was applied and car occasionally run on 3 cylinders Was also chucking out lots of oily blue smoke when rev'd hard
  17. the dealer spent 6 days testing the engine as per skoda's instructions and after splitting the engine to check bores and pistons deemed it excessively worn. had only done 20,000 miles up until then.
  18. My 2011 Vrs used very little oil but still required a new engine a week or so ago due to excessive wear of the bores. Seems a bit of a lottery with the engines and mine had been fault free for over two years.
  19. Quick update on mine.......after 6working days of testing and checks skoda have decided it needs a new engine. Last I heard from the techs was they were checking the pistons and bores so am guessing its failed that check too. Just waiting on the engine arriving now though they have said end of week for getting it back.
  20. hi George, that's all been checked and software updated but car still has rough running through out rev range and chucks out a good bit blue smoke. skoda want a leak check done on the cylinders so will see what happens from there. its getting looked at by west end garage at halbeath who have been great.
  21. Been told a week to 10 days here if engine is changed and that includes delivery of engine. Mine is in next week for a cylinder leak test as its started flashing check engine, rough running on three cylinders at times and epc light flashing. Also getting lots of blue smoke from exhaust. Car had been perfect up until now with no real oil issues.
  22. Is it the boot vent behind the rear bumper that's clicking? Ours clicks when the car is driven hard.
