  1. Did you look into how much the standard Skoda light loom would set you back at all mate?
  2. I run the matching Neuspeed bars. 25mm front and 28mm rear. To say my suspension is still standard they're amazing! Gets my vote.
  3. It 100% is Jase. My whiteline was cack in comparison. You wouldn't want it to be slack would you?
  4. I managed just with brute force and swearing. Snug fit but shows they're up to the job!
  5. ANPR. They'll be checking markers, insurance and licensing things. They do it in Sheffield with a black VW T5 van. Sits in the middle and just scans cars with Marked or unmarked units close by.
  6. Because he fancied a giggle? Its not like it isn't a VW though is it? Literally all of it from the same parts bin. I wouldn't get offended about it!
  7. Depends how low you are and what offset and width your wheels are! There's no yes or no without knowing.
  8. Fully synth mate. If its the flashing oil light don't drive it or you could kill the turbo!
  9. My Sport contact 3s are amazing. Was gonna go for Sport contact 5s when these wear out.
  10. Yes you can just do as Rob says and bridge the connector but who knows your tester might find it. The pads with the connectors on from ECP are around £20. Good quality Pagid items too. If the pads don't even have the connector then they may be very low quality.
  11. Usually 320. So who knows on that one!
  12. Mine has never run out of fuel even though I often run it to 0 miles. I think there's something else wrong there too....
  13. Mine! 1st car @17: Mk2 Golf GTI 8v (Still in the family since brand new in 1987) 2nd car @18 Mk2 Ryder 1.6 8v 3rd car @19 Corrado 2.0 16v 4th car @21 (Still have it) Octavia VRS 5th car @23 (Still have it) Corrado VR6 6th Car @23 (The missus' car, still have it) Beetle 1.8T Convertible
  14. I'd always go for Uniroyals over Falken. Falken are more of a budget brand. Run Uniroyal Rainsport 2's on my Corrado VR6 and they're great.
  15. Fair enough. Will have to see what they're like! I've had cheap coils on my mk2 Golf and Corrado before but I wasn't sure about a big heavy car with them. If I'm down that way again will give you a shout!
  16. Should be a whistling indeed! If its really loud and you've not got a big air filter then there's a chance of a boost leak. More often than not it's just normal noise!
  17. Car looks great fella. Whereabouts are you in Market Drayton? My cousin lives in Edgmond so I pop down that way sometimes! Whats made you go for the Pro Sports? Have you been out in an Octavia with them on yet? I wasn't sure if they'd be a bit crap.
  18. My standard clutch lasted a similar amount of miles on an aggressive stage 1 map. So don't feel obliged to, but G60 flywheels and VR6 clutch feel **** loads better than Dual mass ones. A lot of the good stuff has already been said. The essential stuff for me was: Big Rear ARB Stage 1 Map Superpro Dogbone bush Big CAI (as i like noise) If you wanted to get for Stage 2 spec pretty much everything in my signature, plus big turbo intake pipe and big downpipe. Depends how deep your pockets are and how much you're wanting to push on for! My goal is 250bhp and 300lbft of torque so a good wedge of cash involved. But its a bug!
  19. Same intercooler is now on my VRS as I bought it off Jase. It needed little bits cutting on the inner bumper and the brackets mounting etc but not a great deal. Depends how savvy you are! For the money mate they're great. Have been seeing really low intake temps on the last few hot days we had. Could always show you mine if you were close enough. On me phone so dunno if you are!
  20. Its not one of the bigger ones that have been introduced recently then? The 75mm sort of size?
