I tought skoda closed them till the end of the year and only running one production line for the stocked cars and then the backlog. But still its a very slow rate. I hope everyone will have better news soon about their order.

I noticed that there is some movement from orders up to june, so all from mid/end july onward will be probably built in 2022 :s I hope not but that is what i think as i ordered also in july and there is no estimate build week but have given a 2022 as a most probabel delivery.

Let us know which color it will be as there are some like you and i heard from my dealer that quartz will be changed to graphite if ordered. If you still have the quartz then hopefully there is some hope for them.

IF your Kamiq is being built allready, i would suggest you play the lottery often as you are a very lucky man

Yeah don't see any alternative and with safety to turn off when low volatage. I won't be doing that so i won't use parking mode.

I asked the dealer about it and it is not possible. The only solution will be rewiring the bunch to a constant i guess, but then doing that will probably have impact on your warranty.

Well it will be hard for every customer. It will simply be 'you will get it when it arrives' and when that will be can easily be somewhere in 2022 like my july order has been estimated without a precise date. It is a big mess and there is nothing the dealers or we can do about it. Poor souls those that have troubles with ending of the lease or sold their car :s ...

I also ordered (at the skoda dealer) in July 2021 and like r0b3rt said, there was no mention of delay with scala and kamiq back then. I have no build date neither and the estimate is now somewhere in 2022 as they do not know what influence it has on the order..breaking contract makes us lose money because it is a situation out of the dealers hands.

To get the orders secured i guess, i am in the same boat. And lots of $ for the salesman.
