Cable......? The brakes are hydraulic and they don't stick on. Pump the brakes up hard, keep the pedal pressed down thenstart the car up. Does the pedal sink under your foot?
-
While your at it, why don't you add a 12ft chrome spoiler and some Fox alloys The badge is the badge. If you don't like it, buy a Ford.

There are several boxes that can alter boost as well. They are very effective and produce a lot less smoke.

Application for Mobile Phone Contract Declined
Decron replied to Mercurio's topic in The Roadside Hotel
I totally agree. He is just a figurehead now, Best Buy control's the retail business. It's all about insurance products and services now. -
The Scout spec hasn't changed since the previous model convention when compared to the 3 it made a lot of sense as it was the only model in the range to incluse ESP as standard.

Do a search, you will find find several cans of worms already open with this name on it.

This would indicate that the tyre is wearing in a strange way. On my Saab 93 which has rear wheel steering, the rear tres will wear on the inside edge wlthough not so you could see it. the end resutl that is no matter what tyre you have fitted will start whining after about 2000 miles. Swap the tyres round and you will probably find the noise will move too.

They are all the same T-mobile and CPW are just the same as any other retailers, you get good ones and bad ones but bear in mind a lot of ex DSGi management now reside like a cancer in the CPW structure and it's only time before this quickens the morph into Best Buy Mobile. -
Went to fit coilovers last night...
Decron replied to Ad Lav's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
That guide was written to swap the whole strut. Why would need to remove the top bearing to do this if your swapping straight to coilovers? -
Guide? 1. Remove old filter 2. Take a new filter 3. Fill with new filter with diesel or Forte 4. Fit new filter to car 5. Start the car.

Fabia 1.2 6v 54bhp feel reaaally slow?
Decron replied to paratus's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
So..... you loose nearly half your BHP and you feel it may be a bit slow? If your worried, do something about it. -
The SOT should be better than that, You can get these from any Armour Stockist although I am not sure which one I used. It was fine 99.5% of the time http://www.armourautomotive.uk.com/ The screen is probably best just to the left of the climate unit. The controls are best just behind the drivers windows control and the cables aer good hanging down under the stereo

New Roomster Scout - part leather interior
Decron replied to Big John's topic in Skoda Roomster (2006-2015)
£555 for partial trim with not even real leather You can get a full leather retrim for less than that -
Or..... (And this is a revolutionary notion.....) How about you just stick to the speed limit? Then you have no need of anything like it.

If you wanted to save a lot of cash... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270579178305&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT You could even get them refurbed with the red rim for far less than the new ones would could cost

What about something like this?
-
You won't fit three seats in a row into a Roomy or very few other cars for that matter
-
You realise these do absolutely nothing?
-
Didn't look like this?

Yep. Do a search on my username, I have tried it all at some point. If he has a common rail (CDTI) he is lying to you. They don't like Bio above about 25%, veg oil will be even less due to the viscosity and general chemical make up of it Proof if you beleive eveything on the internet you could get yourself into trouble. Yes the first diesels were made to run on "nut oil" ...over 100 years ago however your modern day PD/CR engines are far removed from that and it's really not that simple. Do a search and you will find enough info on it to make your head spin.

If you have ESP, there is a button on the dash, if you don't it's an ASR button and if the light is on all the time you could have other issues and you need to get your codes read. Why you would want to get it turned off is a mystery, you need to get the issue fixed rather than stick a plaster over it. It's like using pit spray when you need a shower.
