  2. I know mate but can only start saving when I've paid the car off :'( Been toying with the idea of getting in contact with a few compaines from Greece and Cyprus to see what they can do for me instead off the problems guys are having here with tuning, like hybrid turbos by changing compressor wheel and few other things
  3. I love it.. been looking all over the web for a kit found a couple but sadly no real s2000 for the few pennies I have
  4. Yea was the only fabia vrs until last week :(, Well has its advantages and diadvantages, you soon learn to keep muncies for sunday :p. Im more bothered about not having super unleaded then anything else. I have heard many a good review about the tsi so if you can stretch to the 1.2 tsi or 1.6 diesel then you should have a wicked wee car
  5. As of 2010, the engine line-up was updated along with a facelift; this was introduced at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. 1.2 litre TSi turbocharged petrol engines replaced the previous 1.4 and 1.6 litre engines, providing significant improvements to fuel consumption and corresponding reductions in CO2 emissions. Just go here make gives a really good general idea http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%A0koda_Fabia Sorry on fone
  6. Without increasing exhaust size you can buy 55mm exhaust pipe and felxi's on ebay. But without the ability to make the s bend you would have to cut really close to it (between silencer and s bend) and have to get silencer welded if it was to be re-used. One things I did find was a flexi called 'truflexi' or tru flexi, it looks pretty smart but dont know if I could justify the price and the fact it wont fit due to them only being able to expand to 2" Shame its such a pain diameter,
  7. Hi guys, Looking through websites and found this one (did search on name here couldnt find it): http://www.rallyshop.it Bit fiddly to navigate but loved the look of the s2000 bumper and arch extentions look under fiber glass
  8. How long is the centre silencer?? Just being cheeky cant be arsed rolling under the car in this weather maself.
  9. Once again that pharse is mentioned "software update" as far as I am aware there was 1 or 2 for the 1st engine CAVE and maybe 1 for the newer. Me ive had both services completed at dealerships and not once spoken to about them carrying out an update. Took sparks out about 8 thou ago and apart from a little build up on 1 of them they looked pretty good. Only ever used super unleaded on a couple of occasions due to where I live and only getting the normal stuff
  10. Good luck mate if you can keep us posted would be awesome soo many guys doing mods and very few guides etc. When the warranty runs out on mine will be very tempted to make this the first mod apart from spacers ive just ordered
  11. Here you can buy a dtm diffuser http://www.superskoda.com/fabia-ii/rear-bumpers/skoda-fabia-ii-rear-bumper-diffuser-dtm Looks a lot like vrs style I would try looking on ebay for rear bumpers were a couple a while back. Have you considered monte rear bumper?? Think it would suit even without the extra arch trims. You can buy the monte arch kit from superskoda aswell. Or painting/plastic dip vrs rear diffuser as I think it looks soo much better then the plain black plastic of the vrs
  12. I didnt realise the oem style stick out soo much. I have ebay ones above and their doing their job, been on about a year so far and no problems
  13. Check dealer price, as skoda alloys aint too expensive. If you read about dunlops (on vrs) they aint too good so if you can afford to replace both fronts I would be tempted to
  14. Personally after reading tuning from Greece and surrounding area the guys run a TD05 turbo http://www.etuners.gr http://www.etuners.gr/index.php?s=13&t=406 states its running 342bhp on 100 ron
  15. Try a skoda dealer would be all I can say mate, managed to get me a screw when I had no idea what it be called lol so had to describe location etc
  16. As stated remove centre silencer havent done it yet. You can buy centre pipe from website but look about £100 mark before fitting
  17. Pcp is what im on and dont think I would do it again paying 2k despoit then 260 a month for 3 years and still have 5k to pay at the end :(. What the dealer is saying is most likely put a despoit down (i.e money+car) then pay monthly payments for 3 years and then try and use the retained valve of the car minus the left over finance to fund another car. In the long haul you'll pay more and if you dont pay final payment or take out another car you have given them in excess of 6/7k for driving a newish car for 3 years and have nothing left but a hole in ya pocket If I was you I would either wait for the mk3 to come out, get one of those, wait for the mk3 and get a mk2 then or get a mk2 thats done a few thousand miles. BUying isnt worth the lose of 2k the second you sign the paperwork. Out of the way of funding well you either pay all, get finance from them then pay it off after a few months, get finance from bank. Its up to you how you go about this. He would have suggested finance as it makes skoda and him money 1.6TDI seems good by the impression i get from reading other memebers experiences.
  18. Just a slight concern that awesome being a tuner an all and they dont know what dsg box is in a fabia
  19. Even if it did even after just 40k thats shocking (dry box). If their not charging a bad price then I wonder why not, what guarantee they giving after service??
  20. http://www.awesomegti.com/car/skoda/fabia2?subpart=AntiRollBars Sorry edited just realised you had said rear bar
  21. I have a lab and shes got plenty of space, she is quite a small working bred tho. Oh btw I have a hatch
  22. Why not just go monte with 1.6 diesel lump or 1.2 tsi. Road tax on fabia is 140 quid a year and insurance is cheap many vrs's are owned by younger lads, I myself am 24 1 claim and 6 points and just short of £400 a year
  23. As above it brought and first got the car serviced by arnold clark inverness then got its 2nd service completed by skoda dealer in kings lynn no hassle as stated its all on national computer even the free servicing due to finance
