Any Enyaq Facelift Owners On Here? Opinions, as looking at them for possible company car choice...
I've got a 2024 Enyaq, pre facelift. The only difference between mine and the facelift is the front end and the change from piano black inside to matt and chrome trim to matte trim. Software, buttons etc are all unchanged on the facelift. I've done loads of videos on the enyaq at www.youtubre.com/@enyaq_gorm

the truth about electric cars
George, I have no idea why you are so bitter about people claiming work expenses, it's fair that if my employer requires me to make a journey in my own car which I would not otherwise make that they compensate me for the wear and tear, the depreciation and the fuel. If you do one charge then the saving covers the cost of the monthly sub. Obviously they need to be in places you are travelling. If they are not then they are as much use as a handbrake on a canoe. 5 years ago cars were only just starting to appear that could charge over 100 kW and the chargers at that speed were like hen's teeth.

What would you like to ask Skoda?
yeah sometimes, but then so does google maps at times

the truth about electric cars
you have to remember that 5 years ago when the Scottish Government was installing those 50 kW chargers that was pretty much state of the art. The private sector was nowhere to be seen. And Ionity at 43p ain't so bad. Glad you liked the video :-)

What would you like to ask Skoda?
the most direct way is via the EV lounge on Facebook. Or if you don't like FB then I could ask for ya (I also have rather more direct access using whatsapp)

EV real world range and cost to charge
sponsored by Tena? 🤣 7500 miles between Jan and mid August (was away for most of july with no car so in reality this is 7 months of data) , total cost of public and home charging £230. That is basically just over 2 fill ups in my diesel so roughly 900 miles or so in the diesel. I call that a finanical advantage

EV Charging Costs
I said MPGe, not MPG, it is a recognised unit of measurement, I can even set the car to display it

EV real world range and cost to charge
I'm on my 2nd Enyaq - as ever with Skoda they have been utterly reliable. Just jumped in the car last week and drove from Edinburgh to near Utrecht in the Netherlands. We took the ferry from Newcastle rather than driving 11 hours to the South coast, but we could have made the journey without charging. We stopped for a toliet stop after 2 and a half hours so we plugged in while we went to the loo and grabbed a coffee. On the way home from Utrecht, zero charges and we had 40% left when we got home.

EV Charging Costs
unless you are driving 24 hours a day why is that an issue? Do you not sleep? That's when I charge. 7500 miles for £230 so far this year. Can't see fossil fuels touching that. 60 mpg is pretty poor compared with an EV which will be typically 130 mpge or more. Mine has been averaging 138 mpge over the Summer for example

EV Charging Costs
Here's the snapshot for 2025 so far: Distance covered: 7,157.54 miles Number of trips: 61 Total charging cost: £230.89 The graph below covers both public charging and charging at home both on grid and from solar (which is why the Summer months show close to zero cost). To put that in perspective: that’s about the cost of 2.7 fill-ups for my diesel VW T6 camper van — which would only get me around 1,168 miles. And that’s with a respectable 40 mpg, hauling beds, a cooker, fridge, and more. Of course, the economics shift if you can’t charge at home. But for me, home charging not only makes the car cheaper to run — it also slashes our household energy costs. Compared to neighbours still using gas heating, our winter energy bills were around five times lower.

you can't do it any more, they have locked all the modules down with security software now- Elroq: Who else has ordered?
- the truth about electric cars
you can either have a charger that octopus controls or a car that octopus controls. Octopus doesn't have an approved method of controlling Skodas so whenever skoda changes something on their side it can break the integration , whereas the charger integrations never break you can either have a charger that octopus controls or a car that octopus controls. Octopus doesn't have an approved method of controlling Skodas so whenever skoda changes something on their side it can break the integration , whereas the charger integrations never break- Powerpass/public charging
the price of the middle tier on powerpass hasjust come down to match ionity, now looks like good value- the truth about electric cars
yes if the car is supported by Octopus then you can use a granny charger- the truth about electric cars
that's a bit like saying "the world's obesity problem needs to be solved but if I choose to eat better and take more exercise will it really make that much difference?". If we all say what's the point then nothing will change- the truth about electric cars
that's expensive. I find plugging in the Enyaq means I get off peak power straight away. Last night I plugged in and got off peak through to 7am today. That means my central heating is cheaper to run as is the washing machine, tumble drier etc- the truth about electric cars
The Ford Explorer is a Skoda Enyaq / VW ID4/5 / Audi Q4 in different clothing. I'm on my 2nd Enyaq, best car I have ever owned - Skoda Enyaq and ESC coding
