  1. Read it again, if coolant low or heater not working it could tie in with the temperature gauge not registering correctly.
  2. Is the coolant level between the high and low marks? Edit: Does the heater work as it should?
  3. That's why the fans are running when you stop due to an interrupted regeneration, the DPF filter needs more than that and eventually it will go into limp mode and will need a forced regeneration. As to the temperature gauge my Yeti needs more than 6 miles to get temperature this time of year.
  4. So what is the usual journey? How many of your journeys are less than 6 miles?
  5. Windows Media Player will do that, it'll rip the CD into the music library as soon as inserted in drive and load all artist track and album art into the CD copy. These are some of the music in my Music Folder, that I have just pulled onto an SD card to play in the Yeti.
  6. Is that because of an interrupted DPF regeneration? Are you doing mainly short journeys?
  7. Have you tried pulling the albums from your PC onto the SD card?
  8. Just the Windows app, as soon as I put a CD in the drawer it automatically rips it to WMA and somehow finds the Artist, Album cover and all Tracks, I then just need to pull the albums I want from the music library onto the SD card.
  9. If the 64 plate car above it will be cam-belt and as the water pump does not run on the belt it will not need doing. PS: make sure the car has the optional Sat-Nav as the car did not come with that as standard.
  10. I just copy the CDs from my PC as *.WMA files to the SD card, I have 130+ CDs that then show as albums and artist with all the tracks named within within. The CD albums fan out to swipe between to choose album or track to play, I have map SD card on left and music SD card on the right.
  11. I suspect that if Ex Skoda he will have no Skoda records available to them Have you asked a Skoda Garage?
  12. If it has been serviced by Skoda they will have records and give you a printout.
  13. Oops yes it's part 3.
  14. Have a look here, there are trims for the Adventure, part number (Edit:) 3. It says from £41:74. https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/YET/666/8/853/853000
  15. That's just a car park spotter for those with a bad memory, I know because I've had one 🙂
  16. Does she "wobble"? 🤪
  17. 2017 model with halogen bulbs do NOT need the bumper or headlight units removed to change the bulbs. But not as in the video above, do NOT touch the glass with your fingers, if you cannot manage to do that wear gloves.
  18. I have tried it and it did not work. I take it it's the same module that retains the memory for the 2 drivers seat positions that's needed for operating the mirror.
  19. If it was me I'd disconnect the motor and seal the roof joins with clear 3M helicopter tape, as you have on the bottom rear edge of the back doors. You will still have the glass roof and sunblind for a fraction of the cost and lasting dry car, for the amount of time you open the sunroof will it be worth £thousands?
  20. If it was the same materials but new will be more flexible conductors + not so much flex with the U shaped bellows.

I think it depends what 1.2 is fitted, some say it wont take the suction tube. But if it does it's great, you want the oil warm. no crawling under to remove the under-shield and by the time the oil is pumped out into an empty container you've changed the filter, a lot cleaner and quicker than using the drain plug.

There have been people report that the Lidl pump (that is excellent) the suction pipe will not fit down the 1.2 TSI dipstick tube.
  23. That must be down to really poor design.

Maxidot showing 71.3 over 65 miles and that included 2 runs through the centre of Lincoln. That was after only 5095 miles, it's a bit better now it's run in.
  25. Past a screw in a plastic enclosure?
