  1. Silentbloc more usually relate to suspension/engine mount bushings.
  2. I use these for cambelts etc. Should be done at 5 years. South west of Lincoln. £499 including water pump. https://lvsag.co.uk/vehicles/skoda/
  3. If these go missing or not fitted correctly it makes a lot of noise especially at speed.
  4. I take it you do check the oil and water etc regularly? Have you lost any of the rubbers around the wheel arches at the bottom of the rear doors?

I would have thought there would be timing marks on crank and camshaft pulleys.
  6. If you mean clockspring there are lots of options, from the whole part to just replacing the ribbon cable.
  7. You show as being in Eastbourne, Carista is an OBD2 dongle that is used to read fault codes and customise options in the cars ECUs. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Carista-Bluetooth-Adapter-Scanner-Technology/dp/B00YVHGTBM
  8. Pretty sure I've seen that option in the Carista menu.

I have never used a new washer in all my years 70+, now in the Yeti I do not even take the sump plug out as for the last few years I have sucked the oil out of the dipstick tube straight into a waste can so no need to do any cleaning up or removing the undertray. I use an oil suction pump from Lidl.

Go to: https://www.gsfcarparts.com Put in your reg number then search for sump plug.
  11. The radio code is stored in the cars ECU so if original unit put back it will not need the code entered. .
  12. Yes but was it to VW504 00 spec?
  13. Easy when you know how. Just lift the trim straight up towards the roof while guiding the top out to miss the roof lining. Edit: Are you sure you are using fuse 6 it works OK on mine. Take that fuse out and see if the rear wiper still works.
  14. Close the window, release the switch then hold switch up again for about 5 seconds. If it opens before you get to the second part see if someone can have a hand on both sides of window to assist it closing.
  15. They are off the back of the chrome door opening levers. I have stuck mine back on with contact adhesive.
  16. 6000+ miles per litre is amazing for a 1.8 TSI at 150,000 miles!
  17. What's the oil consumption like?
  18. Why not piggyback fuse 6 (rear window wiper that is only live with ignition on) in the fusebox, take wire up behind A pillar trim (which comes off just by lifting it up) and tucking behind roof trim. Takes all of 10 minutes. The fuse box in the manual is upside down (for left hand drive cars) the one below shows it correctly
  19. I would check for stored fault codes with an OBDII reader.

What is the date stamped on the tyre?
  21. Yes, mine is a 2015 car and it did that OK.
  22. Mine in the picture above and I did it in 5 minutes with Carista OBDII.
  23. But was the pump taken out to clean the screen on the pump?
  24. I suspect it is gone, advert no longer available.
  25. For a car up for sale the inside is very untidy and dusty and the engine compartment is disgusting.
