  1. I have 19" Pirelli P7's on my 280 Sportline. I hope to have the same experience as you MChris. Contentals on my superb mk2 used to only get 14k miles on my fronts. If the 19" Pirellis don't last well I will try another brand.
  2. Cool, you have got the new wheels on
  3. I ordered them through the dealer and had them fitted to my car for day of collection.
  4. As others have said they are 19" Supernova Alloy - Black. I have them on my car and they look (I am biased) amazing. Picture here - http://www.briskoda.net/forums/gallery/image/10137-dragongreen-skodasuperbsportline/
  5. I thought I would post this picture KDS sent me today showing the detailing improvements on my new car. Picture and more details are available on Facebook KDS Said: Would love to know what others think of this. I am shocked new car paint is so bad, but I am glad I am getting it fixed.

    Paint Improvements

    KDS work to improve paint
  7. Yes that was my car. It is at KDS getting a coat of GTechniq Crystal Serum. It is a struggle being without it for a week.
  8. I should probably add my Superb to the register being that I have had it a week. Superb SportLine 2.0 TSI 280 Estate 4x4 DSG in Dragon Green Extras are: Rear side airbags (PE2) Temporary steel spare wheel (PJB) Virtual pedal (PK9) Heated windscreen (PKV) Smart light assist with Lane assist and Blind spot detection (PNG) Park assist (PPA) Wireless phone charging with Bluetooth+ and Wi-Fi (PT5) Canton sound system (RA3) Heated windscreen washer nozzles (9T1) Crew Protection Assistant (7W2) Sliding trunk cover (3U2) Boot nets (6M3) Rear-view parking camera (KA2) Special exterior paint (FB1) Heated front seats (4A3)
  9. I have also been playing with POI data for speed cameras today. I found the Skoda tool also did not work, the folder structures it creates are not correct. I used the German tool and it all worked find. I got my speed camera data from POIplaza as I don't want to pay pocketgpsworld for data when their data is all user generated. On another note once I had a working update, I have looked to see if I can reverse engineer the final format. The data in the folders appears to be easy to write code to convert to, but the route txt file I have not yet worked out how the hashes are keys in the file are produced. If anybody knows please let me know. I would love to code a tool that does this better than the VW tools available online.
  10. Thanks tmg, thats a great help. I will be using my existing bars and feet. Saves me some money :D
  11. @tmg are you happy with how the 757 fits on the Superb Mk III? I have foot pack 757 from my old car, and Aerobars that are 119cm long. I am hoping to reuse. Not sure I like the look of the fit of the 775 foot pack which is what all sites recommend for the Superb Mk III. Wanted to know your experience of reusing 757 foot pack, as I prefer a clamp system to the band system on the 775's. Just want to be confident before doing 70mph on the motorway with roofbox or two bikes on the roof.
  12. Agree with Graham, ride is fine. It feels more planted than my previous Mk II superb, less roll in corners but at the same time, hit a bump and it does not break you back. The seats are amazing, really hold you when you go round bends fast. I don't think the 19's, sport suspension or low profiles cause to many issue, that said I do like a firm ride.
  13. Yes ordered wheels as an accessory from my dealer, and arranged to have the tyres moved over and them put on the car. Cost was £1080 for the wheels fitted on the car. The dealer was not interested in purchasing the sportline wheels off of me so I sold them to a forum member. It did cost me to change the wheels, but I am pleased I did it. Took the car for a 60 mile A road drive today, it is a great drive. Can't wait until I have run it in and can take it past 4,000rpm. Car feels quick even in normal (not sport) and without full throttle. The 280 really is the best match with the Sportline to get a VRS Superb!

  15. Unfortunately this happens all to often, makes me not want to ever take my car to a carpark. My 3 day old superb already has a pin point dent on the driver's door from a carpark. I will be seeking PDR (painless dent removal) to get it out right. If you want it fixed PDR is the route to take.
  16. Picked car up yesterday. I am sure colour will be Marmite, some will love some will hate. Personally I am over the moon and love it. So pleased I changed the wheels to also be black. Car is: SportLine 2.0 TSI 280 PS 4x4 DSG in Dragon Green Extras added: Rear side airbags (PE2) Temporary steel spare wheel (PJB) Virtual pedal (PK9) Heated windscreen (PKV) Smart light assist with Lane assist and Blind spot detection (PNG) Park assist (PPA) Wireless phone charging with Bluetooth+ and Wi-Fi (PT5) Canton sound system (RA3) Heated windscreen washer nozzles (9T1) Crew Protection Assistant (7W2) Sliding trunk cover (3U2) Boot nets (6M3) Rear-view parking camera (KA2) Special exterior paint (FB1) Heated front seats (4A3)
  17. Mine is also coming with gloss black wheels, I think it will suite the Sportline more than anthracite wheels. I also went for "radioactive urine", I collect today so will post pictures later.
  18. Due to pick up my new Sportline tomorrow, so will be able to tell you all what I think about it then. SportLine 2.0 TSI 280 PS 4x4 DSG in Dragon Green, with wheels changed to SuperNova Black 19" Alloys. Will only have it two weeks then it is going away for a week to get a coat of GTechniq crystal serum Can't wait till tomorrow, it's like Christmas come early!!!
  19. Would love to hear how you get on with Maidstone. I have order a Sportline with them early September too. Should have been built this week, so you will get your's before mine. Only bought cars from Ashford Skoda in the past, but dealings with Maidstone have been excellent so far.
