  1. Wow!!! Which county are you in and which options. That is really fast order for a Skoda. I am expecting 12-14 week wait.
  2. Yes I ordered on Friday 2nd Sept, not yet been given a build week, was told that would take a couple of weeks to come through. Car I have ordered is as follows. Superb Estate SportLine - 2.0 TSI 280 PS 4x4 DSG Dragon Green metallic Rear side airbags Temporary steel spare wheel Virtual pedal Heated windscreen Smart light assist with Lane assist and Blind spot detection Park assist Wireless phone charging with Bluetooth+ and Wi-Fi Canton sound system Heated windscreen washer nozzles Crew Protection Assistant Sliding trunk cover Boot nets Rear-view parking camera Heated front seats I also have have some more extras planned for it when it arrives. Front and Rear mudflaps Gloss black rear bumper protector Car will get G Techniq paint protection Also plan to change the wheels for black ones. I am really upset that the blacked out Sportline comes with chrome wheels :( I also plan to get Traffic Sign Recognition turned on by VCDS Now begins the long wait until I get my hands on it. I really hope before xmas... Have your ordered one tisca?
  3. Just watched this video on YouTube. Its says 4x4 on the back of the car, and has the dual exhausts, so this is clearing a 280 petrol. Can it really do what this video shows? If it can I am blown away, my current Mk II front wheel drive gets stuck in a muddy field and is rubbish in winter. I assume they are using winter tyres in this video, but still this is very impressive!
  4. Also to add, I appreciate others tastes and think L&K 280's look awesome too.
  5. And if you do want a Christmas tree you can order a Dragon Green Sportline 280 which is what i did this week. I like the idea if a subtle car but in the end I went for stand out. Hope I didn't chose wrong.
  6. Could the hub's be painted in the same way that some callipers are?
  7. Can't you also do it the other way. Spec lane assist then car will have camera and then use VCDS to activate TSR? It sounds more expensive that way but would it work?
  8. Cool, asked because I thought you might be putting on some larger alloys. I am obsessed by wheels at the moment so keen to know what people are doing on their Superbs
  9. Agree on symmetrical wheels. I will get a Sportline and see if I can live with the wheels. But if not then prob get some VW or Audi black wheels. Why don't the make left side and right side wheels for non symmetrical designs?
  10. They talk about a stock list on that page. If anybody gets hold of that list it would be good to paste here for others.
  11. Thanks for the tips. I have just msg you direct about taking off some VCDS enableable options then enlisting your help to add those later. I had not realise there was a £40k car tax hike, just reading about it now. https://www.carwow.co.uk/news/ved-road-tax-from-2017-0182-2060 You are right by insisting on whatting back not chrome around the windows, a black grill, and the sport seats. Then specing it up to be like an L&K it is a very expensive way of doing it. That said on the L&K I speced before I adding 19" wheels and a flappy steering wheel (standard on the Sportline) so the L&K I speced was only £1200 cheaper that that Sportline. It is horse for courses. I would get more from an L&K for my money, but I really want the sporty black look (although the wheels will be wasted on my as I will be changing them). I am going a very expensive way about getting the car I want, but I really want the green and black, and I appear to be slightly mad about what I am willing to pay for that. Thanks again Gizmo68 for your advise this last few weeks as I have been deliberating back and forth.
  12. Also for those that know I have been debate back and forth on wheels. I spoke to a dealer today that said I could order a new car and SuperNovas or Phoenix black rims and they could switch the tyres to the new rims and fit them then maybe (and they did say maybe) buy back the stock Sportline rims. Does this sound right, that they could move new tyres from the stock 19"s to a set of 19"s bought from the accessory catalog? If I can reuse the tyres I might do this and then sell the sportline rims on the forums. I am still confused as to how you can buy rims from the accessory catalog but not configure them on the car :(
  13. Just emailed you Colin. Keen to get a quote on this - http://cc-cloud.skoda-auto.com/CarCard/88164135
  14. Thanks Dan, I would get DCC if I was going for standard suspension, but I am not. I plan to buy a sportline which has sports suspension, so feel I should not need DCC. Still in talks with dealers at the moment trying to get a good price.
  15. http://eshop.skoda-auto.com/cz/en/b2c/rims appears to show a good selection.
  16. Ah good point, just seen the chrome accents on the novas. Will check out the Phoenix. Just seen some really nice all black 18" rims on a Octavia VRS.
  17. Simpsons have some details on their site. http://www.simpsonsskoda.com/news/superb-sportline-available-order-july-2016/ Also my local dealer had details they were able to print off for me. (same info as the Simpsons site) Some of the other country sites have details in English http://www.skoda-auto.com/en/models/superb-sportline http://skoda.polbisauto.pl/en/models/superb-sportline http://www.skoda.lv/files/catalog_eng/superb.pdf It is a same the UK site does not have the details yet. As others have said the configurator is up to date, but it has some errors (no Dragon Green)
  18. Me too. I plan to buy the super novas anyway and sell the Sportline wheels on the forums. Super nova are a slot better looking that the Sportline rims.
  19. Do you mean the sportline is in the configurator, or the Dragon Green is now in the configurator? I still can not see the Dragon Green :( If you mean Sportline, it has been in there for 2 days now. I am not disappointed, I am really pleased my specced up Sportline only comes to £700 more than the L&K I speced. I am disappointed that I can't yet select Dragon Green.
  20. Unless I am mistaken you can have Phonebox with wireless charging OR no Phonebox. So I am not sure you can have the enhanced signal strength without wireless charging any more (you used to be able to spec just Phonebox). I agree wireless charging pointless to some extent as you have to plug in for Android Auto and once you do then you get charging anyway. I could of course be mistaken as I don't yet have a Superb MkIII just going on the brochure.
  21. The only one I can answer is point 2, but others will answer 1 and 3 for you soon 2/ There is a storage place in front of the gear stick. This has a USB port for using for Android Auto or CarPlay. It can also fit a Nexus 6, so should fit an iPhone 6+ and can be spec'ed with wireless changing (QI wireless so works with most high end Android phones and with iPhone with case adaptors). If you spec it with the wireless charging (phone box I think it is called) then phone reception is increased when the phone is stored here.
  22. Just a shame it appears to not be active in the configurator yet
