  1. Not for a Scala, but I got a set of Nordrive bars and 2 bike holders for my Octavia, from micksgarage, but I’m sure available elsewhere. Fully adjustable, and come with custom feet to match the curve of your car roof - specify the car model during the order and they supply the correct foot pack. Haven’t had any issue with any of it, and the bike rails even fit my thick framed mtb. Lot cheaper than a set of Thule bars, and not massively less aesthetically acceptable. Bit windy at motorway speeds, but overall fine
  2. Hi Frank, Your going to have to give a lot more information in a post if you want anyone to be able to help if your having an issue?
  3. I literally had one of my alloys cleaned and rim sealed due to air loss by the rim on Saturday morning. 2013 alloys on a mk2 octavia
  4. If the supporting evidence is scientifically correct, verified and repeatable with the same results then whether it’s good or bad doesn’t come into it. But when evidence is gathered by “the one lone scientist who saw something 100’s of others didn’t” is the basis for claims, that rarely stands up to scrutiny. P hacking is an easy way to make a claim that supports a bias - ie stop testing when you get the result you wanted and ignore the data that you also got the doesn’t support it.
  5. Don’t kick immediately after I’ve unlocked it, or it will just get locked again and will stay like that.
  6. Aaaannnnd…. We’re reopening after a little break and getting the room painted a more tranquil shade of “let’s all get along beige”. So let’s all remember to play nice, not spread misinformation, don’t scare monger, don’t try bait for reactions and don’t be attacking each other on a personal level.
  7. I seem to recall the 5 door back windows are the same little pop out style as the 3 door.. so just as liable to be a smidge leaky
  8. Check for water in the spare wheel well - may have been solved in the face lift, but on the older ones it was a dodgy seal around the light cluster let water in.
  9. Just getting back here.. Everybody can take a breather for a couple of days to think, reflect, and question whether this particular discussion is actually going to resolve to a consensus or is it going to spin in circles for another 4yrs of back and forth polarised views that will never be changed and whining. I fear the latter, looking back through the pages and pages of this thread full of personal digs, unsubstantiated claims (from all sides), fear mongering and anecdotes masked as evidence it gives me ptsd to the brexit threads.
  10. I only have experience of the 2013 era 3pot 60bhp mpi engine, and even that’s 5yrs ago already 🙈 I know the newer ones got the 1litre tsi. Which missus mac has in her Arona. Would I describe either as wheezy? Maybe. I always described The mpi on a full throttle as a very happy buzz. And it could shift (relatively speaking 🤣) enough to be a fun chuckable little running shoe. The tsi in the Arona is 115bhp, think it was 90 in the citigo? It’s grand, pokey, but always feels like it’s working a harder than it should need to to push on down the road. I dunno if that makes sense. the one your looking at could have a small leak, or it could just be the engine sound if your not used to it 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. When stuck in a never ending spiral, it can never reach an end…
  12. Is it the marker light, that someone replaced with leds? Not the DRL, the first click in the light switch parking light
  13. @pab567 May know a way around your issue Welcome to the forum btw 👋
  14. Yup, approval needed because you left the VIN details in the post. Next time, just remove the vin number and the word V I N from it before uploading.
  15. Looking at the photo, I think his is on P0359T? You may have mis read that from the image?
