It will be a DQ381 just because that is what they are. DQ200,s have never been used with 2.0 TSI or TDI. Actually that might be wrong as far as some Golf 2.0 TDI 110ps. I never checked as it was a PITA that could not pull away in D and needed in S if not to cause vehicles behind to rear end me.

There could be various things and if you have not already got around to doing visual checks with wheel on and off the ground then wheel off you had best go see a mechanic and find out just what it might be. Anger this morning at the community hospital charger. The NHS bays where occupied all weekend with their cars. They have put up notices that they are theirs. @carefreewe have to guess where you live. Mystery. Not in Scotland i would say where there are maybe 6 major Motor Groups with Skoda franchises and 4 are pretty crap really, lots of branches. Re service history, Is the point of the engine failures not that it is a Timing Chain. so if there is a cam belt question why.... ? What history is there with the car regarding the engine, rebuild or what ever will matter. & get someone that knows about cars to check the stuff like, brakes, tyres, suspension and the stuff that will cost you to fix if needing doing
