  1. There are Tesla that have free Supercharging for the life of the car. There are drivers of Tesla that might never use a Tesla Supercharger or be in the vicinity to use Tesla Supercharger. There is none is the area between Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness or Aviemore. Some might just not use public charging. No Tesla Superchargers north of Inverness, plenty Tesla about that might not head south to Inverness including on Islands.
  2. A 2018 1.5 TSI ACT Skoda has a GPF / Gasoline Particulate Filter.
  3. Any CCS / DC charger is fine or AC Tethered if you do not have a AC charging cable.
  4. Internal Use. (They would not like the toe of a boot right up their jacksy. Big Dealership groups have done it for a couple of decades. Your radio Station, locations from the sat nav etc. Illegal use of information. The barstewards can be quick enough to tell you warranty work done on the car is covered by DATA Protection while they break that as a matter of coarse.
  5. Possibly TESLA would like that they could make it that only they can do that. Fortunately there are smart people that will be trained and experienced and can offer that service. After all the Insurers allowed the sale of the vehicle and the repair of it is allowed in the UK. No restrictions that it must be parted out. If TESLA want control of products / vehicles they sell then they should be buying them back. Party out it would be worth more than it was purchased for. The vehicle appears to be receiving anything special in the way of storage unless that open air parking space and distance from buildings is it & no idea about the transportation of it.
  6. Can the American Corporation actually get away with restrictive practices in the UK with others property even though the UK is no longer in the EU. TESLA does not own the car. What can they legally do in the UK and why to stop a vehicle being repaired, or refuse the use of Superchargers. Any vehicle with faults might well not be able to do a hand shake at chargers.
  7. Is it the Engine Light / Exhaust Emissions light that is being asked about?
  8. Best not carry a Smart phone about then.
  9. Is your current engine dead? Have you been able to source a replacement the ECU & are you doing the engine swap?
  10. Personally i think the blind are leading the blind. The timing belt might well be the issue as with many who never used the tool and locked the engine correctly.
  11. You are looking at an Approved Repairer to look at it. They might be a Skoda Dealership But they are not Skoda. Get onto the Warranty Provider. Have you only one Skoda Dealership near you?
  12. ^^^ The prices are something else. Around £78,000 to well other £100,000
  13. Get the car in. The £180 diagnostic is a small expense compared to failure. Nit that you should be needing to pay that? Is your Kodiak FWD only, no Haldex (AWD)
  14. It is going to cost them. Just as well they have insurance. The technician has some learning to do then. Parts and consumables to get, and if they need Skoda's help they best get it.
  15. What a fugly car imo.. and the black.
  16. I would not be using VW504 00 / 507 00 so 5w 30 FS III, long life oil. Try VW502 00 which is Fixed Services only and will be 5w 40 FS.
  17. Re EPC light, get the fault codes read if any, see what they are, are there Mis-fire codes logged? When were the spark plugs replaced or looked at? Check nearer the Windscreen washer, is the liquid being pumped out. Are the pipes / nozzles clogged, jelly formed in them. A bad mix of washer fluids / bacteria.
  18. A vinyl wrap would be good, but not until that bonnet is flatted right back to almost the primer and there is no moisture. A totally good surface to apply to. Basically the same as needed to repaint the bonnet.
  19. @ZJZ What kind of warranty have you that is coning to cover the dampers, especially after they have been worked on? Wear & Tear and external factors. Pot holes, speed humps, mounting kerbs etc.
  20. Good revival 13 1/2 years on. Back to the future.
  21. So not a #Mystery (Billy Ocean.)
  22. @mlteenie Holy camoly. I have never seen anything as bad. I have seen peeling, even on Mk3 Fabia. & back to Escorts & Cortinas. ? So when did the start to show, and did you follow some type of road maintenance vehicle, tractor trailer, tanker or the likes? Or, did you use some drive in car washing type place, hand washing or drive through?
  23. A Skoda Superb camera car used. .
  24. Painted 16 years ago and at least not a Red one with that pigment, but Skoda Gigaro Red seems fine. So are you capable of cutting back the lacquer / top coat and then if OK re-lacquering. Maybe try finding a bonnet, maybe better than yours, but if it is a 2010 might it not be just as yours is now next year. Best go see a local Body shop / car painter maybe of the self employed mot National Repairers and get an opinion and a price to sand back and respray. I suspect they will not be interested. I am an Ex car sprayer..
  25. Use just he Key words from your title in a search. Ocrtavia PHEV Electric Drive not working I see others that have had exactly your issue and been on social media. Sorry for wasting your time if nothing there.
