Electric vehicles and charging
You have EV drivers like the one that drives this van. Parks in bays for days & nights on end without doing any charging. Nobody can take any action against them at Angus Council chargers. The same van has been left parked at another charging hub for weeks last year occupying a charging bay. (The Car Parking ticket machines and paying to park in the car park next to this are suspended just now because of Covid19) It is an EV it was plugged in but charging will have ended days ago. it gets parked without being put on charge at the Tesco Charging bay as well when it is being used and just as a handy place to park while the driver shops.

1.5tsi dsg remapping risks?

Electric vehicles and charging
That is good because at lease people know not to bother pulling into charge. Much handier than at the Turnberry junction on the A77 turning along to the Golf Clubhouse. The chargers is in and lit up for a year now but the CCS charging head had never been able to be activated. Just as well that it is not on all charger app maps as being there.

1.5tsi dsg remapping risks?
The DQ200 dsg will take the extra torque of any remap you have on a 1.5 TSI. But do you want a DQ200 not covered by a manufacturer's warranty. More important might be do you want a 1.5 TSI without a Warranty covering it. Best well the car while prices are good rather than modify what can be a flawed model / drivetrain. The remap 1.5 TSI threads are in the Performance section.

Uncommanded changes
Is the issue the same as with Octavia Mk4 and a software / hardware fault? http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/484705-kphmph/page/40 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/491365-travel-assist-kphmph On here if any Dealership staff are saying that 5 vehicles have to be reported with the same build quality issue are having a laugh. Worse than that and Skoda CZ need to deal with franchised dealerships as well as their Quality Control at the factory and management issues.

DSG GEARBOX OIL QUANTITY/CAPACITY
I think you need to have the MCU looked at and not just change the oil in the box. But then once you have done at least you will see. Was your car part of Service Campaign '34F7' and had an oil change already? There should be a sticker in the spare tyre well if it was done, or the Dealership or Skoda can check. https://koboguide.com/dq200-oil-change

Master Technician. Sounds like one that had the Full VW Training, just blow them off if you can not be bothered. Good that you never got a deaf one, just one that could not be bothered to do 'Customer after sales care'.

Laying up for winter
I used to just look at it that 9-10 litres of LPG was costing me the same as a gallon of petrol. (My V8 did not have a petrol tank and did not need to start on petrol so no Tacho needed if towing for pay or reward._ so if i got 3 miles to the litre than that was near enough 30 mpg. I got that towing a car transport with car on. Not cheaper than running a TDI until you are getting maybe 4 miles to the litre or more of LPG.

Laying up for winter
Nice. How many miles to the litre of LPG does the RR get? When i had a 4.6 V8 Auto in a 110 Landy it did 3 miles to a litre but it was only 50 pence a litre then & Petrol / Diesel about 100-110 pence a litre. (RPI Engineering's demonstrator) How long does the vRS need laid up for in your area? ie when does winter start and when is it due to finish? Do you not have nice days every week or so.

Warranty Direct.
When the vehicle has had so many issues that required sorting under the Skoda Manufacturers Warranty you are as well buying a Skoda Warranty from Skoda/ VW Group so that when the try to say the issue is invalid because it is a known issue then you can tell them it was known by them yet they sold you a warranty.

Best talk with the Dealer Principal at the dealership and maybe ask them to drive the car and ask to drive their daily drive perk / demonstrator. The Manufacturers Warranty does not just cover drive train. If there was a Mechanic at a Skoda UK dealership then that is amazing, they must be doing an exchange scheme. Bast read the T&C's and the exclusions. SKODA_Warranty_Terms_November_2021.pdf

Wheel options
It all gets lost in translation. Especially UK English. Most if not actually all with a few exceptions vehicles arrive in the UK with All Season / All Weather tyres, that is Summer / ECO tyres that the lease cars might stay on in All Seasons / All Weathers for 3 years which will be 4 seasons 3 times. Some will arrive with Winter Certificated All Weather / All Season tyres but those are few and far between. Some will have All Terrain Tyres, Few will be on Snow Tyres. So the long and the short is UK Insurers do not specify when Winter is in the UK or parts of the UK and the Government has never had the Law / Legislation or the Highway code specify when or where Summer or Winter Tyres might be used or not used. There is nothing in any insurance policy about 'Seasonal tyres', so we come down to Type Approval and really asking Insurance Brokers and Underwriters who are as confused by that as people on Social Media. PS UK - Tyres, other places / world regions, languages then Tires. If reading Tires then do not assume that the term used to describe, All Season, All Weather, All Terrain, Summer, Wet Weather, Snow etc is as might be relevant in the UK / GB & Northern Ireland.

Fabia 5j suspension setup advice
- DSG GEARBOX OIL QUANTITY/CAPACITY
@Cheif96 Welcome. Are you doing it and doing it yourself because you think you should or because there is an issue / fault? Was the car part of the Service Campaign '34F7' so in for a Oil change since 2014 on DQ200's 2009-2012 to get the Synthetic Oil changed to mineral oil & a software update? Page 11 & 12 is an Oil Change on a DQ200, Box and the MCU, there are 2 different oils. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/439395-the-story-of-the-famous-dq200-clutch-slip/page/11- Yeti to Kamiq
Indeed. & the Oil & Inspection service parts are Oil, Filter & Plug & the cost of the Pollen filter can be extra as would be AC or anything else.- Mpg dropped
If it was the front tyres then i doubt your new tyres circumference is identical to the ones replaced if they were worn. Not sure your fuel use has dropped by that much if the figures are from the dash and not from actual miles driven and litres of fuel used.- Mpg dropped
Welcome. Was that 55 mpg worked out on actual fuel bought & brimming the tank and brimming again or what showed on the dash? Is the dash reset and the tank filled again because at the service and MOT the car sat with the engine running for a while and going no place. ? What did the service involve, was it just Oil / Filter & Air Filter or was the fuel filter changed, anything else? Have you checked the tyre pressures since the service, or have you had new tyres fitted?- EV your choice £40k to £90k
I like that the iX3 does not shout EV and if no green flashes on the reg plate it might go un-noticed as one. Not sure or £60,000 plus and rear wheel drive only.- Is this a feature or some fault?
I can not see the cars age, engine or gearbox but does the car have 'Coasting' function?- Yeti to Kamiq
That 2 services will be on a Fixed Service regime so best ask and have confirmed in writing if the 2nd one after 2 years includes the price of the pollen filter. If £199 is 2 oil and filter changes, look see and report and change the pollen filter it is a bargain. If the dealer wants an extra £45 for the pollen filter then not so much. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/500875-1st-service-due- Tesla Model 3 pre-ordering
Real world! Sales rep / car salesperson type use heating and ventilation for just a driver in a car. Around 200 miles without all seats occupied in the cars.- Regular service intervals 1.6 TDI 77kw
@KopsThat VIN checker can not be trusted for Service Campaigns or Recall Actions, it never showed '34H5' until the new Recall in Australia in 2019 and then some cars appeared and others did not. But then if the DSG is OK 7 years on then fingers crossed and if Skoda never recalled and showed no Recall action when they should have you can get ripped unto them if there is a failure.- Heat pump
@SurreyJohni am less than half up Scotland and not in a particularly cold area and where there is lots or warm sunny days a week or 3 each year. Cars are for getting about in and not just in your own area. Lots of the World Regions have no interest in the European Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure designed to help European Manufacturers fix the testing by producing cars to pass tests that they can not actual match on real world roads. With my crappy EV range is not good over 20*oC either, it is better just below that.- Electric vehicles and charging
The company @KenONeillwhich now i have googled. https://tritiumcharging.com- Electric vehicles and charging
Thanks. 40 pence a kWh. - DSG GEARBOX OIL QUANTITY/CAPACITY
