Rust around rear arches lower sill area.open boot and check number plate light area for rust also. Check electric window operation.and check for warning lights on dash.if you can get underneath check cv boots for tears.dont let a lowered bigger wheeled one put you off

Hi thanks for the reply.right I have an upgraded turbo and remap putting out 190bhp.I want a clutch that will last with the above power.its on a standard at min.im thinking ahead for wen this one starts slipping

My last two fabias did this.I just make sure the keys in my pocket

How much for a decent clutch kit ?do I need to replace flywheel or not? I want a kit that will handle any remap

No its exactly the same its only over about 300 revs I can play with throttle and keep it going but if I accelerate hard it goes away .its just annoying ive checked all pipes except turbo as its lowered and I cant get it on ramps

Check for rust bubbles rear arches.and tailgate above number plate.not many check.but it does rust.if its had a belt and pump change and the turbo and clutch are ok and its had oil changes your good to go

annoying short sharp whistle noise has started lately same rev range only when driving not stationary.I know what the usual spool up noises are etc this is something else.any help appreciated

Double air vent the slats av broke on.mine .its the dash one with the hazzard in middle

i went through all this with my previous vrs it turned out to be front hub bearing moved a few ml away from abs sensor .

no its ok and thank you for the help .looks like a dealer job.might see if i can get a mechanic to go and maybe get it at trade price

There curbed but good tyres .set on ebay 300 but 80 wuid to post .cant find decent second hand rims over here none in biggest car breakers or any where its bad
