  1. At Clumber Park (still a few to locate ⛄) :
  2. I suspect I'd become acclimatised to any combination of drivetrain/operating controls, although first impressions for my partner and I were not positive. It appears the 1.5 TSi e-Tech / DSG is available in Octavia, Superb and Kodiak, but not Kamiq or Karoq? Is this because Karoq / Kamiq are at the end of their life cycles, or is there some other reason the mild hybrid / DSG combo is not available in Kamiq / Karoq?
  3. Replacement antiroll bar now fitted, although after manoeuvring in a multistorey car park last night it became clear the noise remains.
  4. Admittedly this is referring to the 1.0 TSi in an Octavia, but would appear to suggest the mild hybrid system does in some way provide a 'boost' to the engine. 'The mild hybrid system can also recover energy during braking and store it in the battery and support the combustion engine by providing it with an electric boost' My take after driving the e-Tec 1.5 TSi DSG Kodiak was it felt noticeably 'snappier' from a standstill than the 1.5 TSi DSG Kamiq.
  5. Probably just a consequence of my lack of familiarity with DSG (and a nagging thought of previously reported reliability concerns). I did try a new Kodiak 1.5 TSi DSG when collecting the Karoq and found that a noticeably better drive, although the car itself is too big for our needs. I had wondered if the e-Tec / mild hybrid aspect of the Kodiak was significant?
  6. We thought the Kamiq was a little odd to be honest. The manual handbrake and DSG made for an odd combination, although this comes from my other Automatic car having both an electric handbrake and autohold and 30k miles in a manual Karoq, The 1.0 TSi was fairly smooth and quiet at speed, but I appreciate the extra power of the 1.5. The car itself seemed better screwed together than my 2023 Karoq and was generally quieter and less prone to in-cabin rattles. The main reason for driving it though was the DSG and whilst it's certainly smooth in operation I'm undecided if I could live with it on a daily basis. Suspect I need to try a 2.0 TSi Karoq (or even VW Tiguan?).
  7. Stunning 👌
  8. Glorious autumnal colours at Clumber earlier🍂
  9. Second opinion maybe? I'd have thought seperated lower arm bushes would be picked up on MOT?
  10. Car has gone in for a further attempt at rectification and I'm taking the opportunity to test drive a 2024 1.0 TSi DSG Kamiq - keen to experience the DSG gearbox
  11. More background than foreground!
  12. I miss my old CLK although not the >£700 annual VED!
  13. Couple from this evening...............
  14. Hope you get this resolved under warranty 👍
  15. Think 215 are OEM for 2WD, whereas 225 are OEM for 4WD?
  16. I have 18" Cross Climate 2 on our 2023 1.5 TSi Karoq and older versions are fitted to both our SEAT Mii & FIAT 500. I'm yet to experience much in the way of snow and understand they are now bettered by other options, but nonetheless remain a sold choice for year round use👍
  17. The only occasion I had an Automatic (conventional or DSG) stall was as a result of a fault (idle control valve). Not sure how an automatic would stall otherwise?
  18. There is an individual mode where steering, engine, AC and suspension (assuming you have DCC?) can be configured independently. The car can only be in a single mode at any given time.

I have the same car and despite taking seats out many times have never come across anything resembling this. Google image search suggests it might be an upholstery washer? https://upholsterywarehouse.co.uk/products/washers-50mm-diameter
  20. And the closest I'll get to a Bonfire this week 🔥 😀 20241103_170436.mp4
  21. Glorious autumnal colours this afternoon 🍂
  22. Yes - still stalls if the revs drop too low - suspect that aspect is a characteristic of this engine, which seems to not tolerate 'lugging' at lower revs? The throttle does however feel more positive and I find it easier to modulate, especially at lower speeds👍
  23. The supplying dealer took a look at the car yesterday and said they've seen similar issues with other Karoq's and now plan to change the front antiroll bar - car booked in shortly and I'll report back regarding any improvement 👍
