  1. Vect buycarparts.co.uk will get you OEM parts at really good prices...
  2. Can you add me on as a newbee please? Look forward to seeing you.
  3. That looks really awesome - big kahoonas dude! Look forward to seeing it some time...
  4. FSH is everything these days - folk are keeping their cars longer and will buy a decent used motor with full history. I'd make minimum investment to keep it solid on the road and cruise through MOT Mine made it to 201000 before being rebuilt and as Rob mentioned above it's probably still better than moving to a newer car as you know it's history - that was my outcome rather than bin a good vehicle (I've every nut and washer receipted since new) You could still rebuild the suspension to stock for less which may aid a swift sale when the time comes. Good luck either way.
  5. H & R with Powerflex Bushes. Fit a whiteline rear tension bar (22mm) to tighten things up...
  6. I'd definitely fit a rear bar ASAP - as previously mentioned, you've over egged the front end...
  7. Check out whiteline - they do a 22mm rear sway bar. Will tighten things up....
  8. I've had loads of niggling issues with them over the years from poor servicing and customer satisfaction - to the point of buying my latest from Nottinghamshire. As far as servicing goes - VASSTECH Knaresborough or Northallerton every time. Can't praise VASSTECH enough.
  9. As well as checking for hose leaks you could be over boosting straight into limp mode... Worth checking out. If in doubt - return to stock and rethink you mapping company... If you change your panel filter - don't over oil it as you'll quickly go through Air Flow Meters...
  10. It's your clutch going my friend. Sometimes the vibration will clear itself and you'll chug around fine for a while but try some in gear acceleration tests in high gear and see if you notice your rev counter rise unexpectedly... Not the end of the world
  11. Hi folks - any news on the meet and detailing event? Am new to the Briskoda social scene...
  12. Swapped the splitter and got her buffed up...

  13. H & R 45mm drop springs with poly bushes and Bilstein B6 - runs fantastically. I use it daily in the Yorkshire Dales and NE England on all roads averaging 800miles a week with no issues whatsoever...
  14. Swapping out the front splitter tomorrow...

  15. Hmmm so I'm sat on the drive after a smooth run back from the Highlands... a blip of the throttle revealed an unusual "misfire" - to cut a long story short - a trip to my preferred workshop - a call to Big Fish and hey presto! app they mapped in launch control! Goes like a flee on a hot plate... ;-)

  16. With 108k on the clock be abso sure your turbo is in fine fettle...
  17. Porschecallipers or PB Brakes... (PB offer some great kits with handbrake line linkages) Tonka
  18. Very nice - just fitted a GTB2260VK Garrett from Darkside Developments - the SACHS 6speed paddle race clutch is awesome... would be great in your Fabia... Hope you've plenty of tyres... :-) Tonka
  19. Try Alloygators... really easy to fit and plenty of spares and colour choices...
