About Me

I am happy to make any VCDS changes that you want.

I ask that people research the changes they want to make as I can not know what every model and variant thereof is capable of.

Knowing what can be done and being armed with the setting that needs changing within vcds will facilitate a speedy resolution which as I do not charge for my time is of course paramount.

for example :

The sequence for activating footwell lights is:

1. Select control module from VCDS main screen
2. Go into '09- Cent. Electrics'
3. Select 'Coding'
4. Long Coding Helper (if you've not already saved a scan, take a note of the coding before changing)
5. Go to 'Byte 12' and select 'Bit5' (Footwell lights with Terminal 58d active).

A full scan prior and post any changes will be emailed to the owner so knowing your email address is somewhat useful.

Being self employed with unpredictable job completions  I am usually only available  at short notice and often without much prior notice.

Jobs can complete days early or days later than expected so a mobile number to which I can text when I am free is helpful.

E&OE

Alterations and scans are done so at the risk of the requester. No liability is accepted or implied.
