  1. Yes fairly common issue on the cr engine. Will need a new fuel pressure reg on end of fuel rail.
  2. Yes I too have had the letter. Don't really want to take mine in as it has not had the emissions software fix done and I don't want the potential hassle it may bring.
  3. Needs a full service reset with vcds or similar
  4. 2000kg limit is good, my pct is limited to 1800kg even though its a 4x4 so good for 2000. The 100kg nose is OK but you are still limited to 80kg to match the car.
  5. Ecs just as good. My work t6 van has ecs and my superb is westfalia. Both code and work the same. You'll need pin tools like these https://www.idparts.com/pin-removal-tool-set-p-6236.html And a small screwdriver or pick to release bcm connections.
  6. £149 from pf jones for westfalia on ebay. Says its for hatchba k but shouldn't be any different to estate. They also include the optional pin 10 wiring for fridge so works out cheaper than anywhere else.
  7. Don't need to remove any more trim than if they fitted a crappy bypass setup. I didn't remove any trim in the car, only the rear right boot panel. Managed to thread wiring through and tucked under the sill trims. Bit of a cheat but saved a lot of effort.
  8. Get westfalia wiring. The lhd vid is useful. I was a little daunted by the wiring as the instructions aren't hugely clear but it's actually really straight forward.
  9. What's your location? I'm happy to help with wiring and coding if local.
  10. Really nice bits of kit and with you Bluetooth you can monitor charge and tweak parameters.
  11. Too high, parts are under £400 at retail. It's a fairly simple job to do.
  12. All will need coding if you want things to work as they should.
  13. Cross climate or vector 4 seasons.
  14. i managed to activate it on my mk2 tdi. does depend on clocks version mind.
  15. you do not need to code the battery, he has no battery monitor so will make not a jot of difference.
  16. there is no shunt on the negative terminal so no smart electrics on this car
  17. Contact matt at haldex repairs based in Crewe. He's very helpful with info and stocks the necessary spares.
  18. The 1.2 puretech in our 308sw has an internal belt. Runs in the oil. Around £400 to replace. There have been issues with belts breaking up and contaminating the oil.
  19. almost certainly the wiring has fractured in the boot from a pillar to drivers door
