  1. Reverse camera is easy, other items less so.
  2. I've drilled the head off then cable tied filter back to bracket. Not ideal but not much more can be done.
  3. That's the sort of price you get when they don't really want the job.
  4. It's to do with bulb failure monitoring, nothing physical to replace.
  5. its normally obvious pulling away on a greasy road whether it is working or not.
  6. Matt at haldex repairs is full of knowledge. He's happy to help over the phone aswell for tech queries
  7. Make sure if you do the job yourself it's definitely the haldex drain and fill plugs you are working. Several instances where people have drained the diff and topped the haldex up leaving the diff dry with the inevitable outcome.
  8. Open circuit means pump probably dead, wiring rarely an issue. Filter change an absolute must. Vcds ideally required to prime system on refill.
  9. There is no dash warning or indication that haldex isn't working annoyingly. You have a replaceable filter, skoda deny this exists so it doesn't get changed on their service. Mine at 60k was just covered in sludge. https://www.haldexrepairs.co.uk/shop/filters/generation-gen-4-filter-kit-vw-audi-seat-skoda/
  10. lights will work without coding. coding needed for additional features
  11. Fiddle to do as wiring runs over top of haldex and is well attached but not impossible. Vcds required to prime the system and I strongly suggest replacing the filter.
  12. Yep that will be it. Just check it's a permanent live mind.
  13. It doesn't look like you have the switched live feed for pin 10 in the wiring mind.
  14. What you're basically doing with the 3 into one cable is taking the feed from the spare permanent live terminal in the rear of the fusebox and feeding the fuses in 43,44 and 45. The spare male blade can be hard to see in the mass of wiring but it is there.
  15. Jaeger are proper electrics yes albeit the kits I've seen with them included are not the best quality in terms of how wiring is interfaced to car.
  16. I would say it's the wire in the middle brown plug. I would not use a scotch lock though, I'd solder it on.
  17. Sadly I'm not familiar with brink wiring. All other kits I've seen take the brake light feed from the bcm in the same connector that the can h and can l are.
  18. By MirrorLink I assume you mean app connect? North East vag adaptations have a Facebook page and say they can do it. £100 though not the £40 I thought.
  19. Smart link has been cracked aftermarket now. I've seen prices from £40 done remotely.
  20. Brown always negative. Suspect grey/white is live. Get a multimeter to confirm.
