Any Honda type R beating vrs's?

Featured Replies

Hang on I'm sure this has all been said before

did it a few weeks ago.

Did not post about it as there are several trolls about that like to stir up the skoda enthusiasts on here ad nauseum.

Hope a mod closes this thread soon- as it's only gonna end up in upset.

my 2p

Bas

Seconded

My fabia is quicker than a civic Type R any of them :P

But alas i have spent a fortune on it.......... But its still quicker

Its actually quicker than an s2000 in a straight line.......throw some corners in and its a different story......but we are working on that bit ;)

*bring on the "a fabia could never beat a type R even if it had 1000bhp" comments

A fabia could never beat a TypeR, Even if it had 1000bhp...

Sorry, couldnt resist

never beaten a type r of the line, but regularly push them round windy roads, and my new fabia project will beat the type r of the lights

This is all so boringly predicable......................

Oh Joy - Another Type R thread...

Just my 2p Worth here -

I myself have owned both the vRS Fabia and the CTR.

I have to agree with other comments on here - There is no chance a standard Fabia vRS could beat a CTR (Unless the driver was stupid).

I have seen many quick Fabias on here that have been altered that could beat me and my car - Even a 2.0l Fabia :D

I am keen to take my car to a track day this year - So if you are interested in getting some nice times from the following:

Standard CTR vs Standard vRS

CTR + Mods vs Fabia vRS + Mods

Then I'm sure some off the CTR forum members would be willing.

If you do have anymore questions about either cars - Please feel free to PM me.

Many thanks,

Rob

Hell i've no doubt that my vRS would get killed off a CTR, as only last night a (What looked like) standard BMW 1 Series diesel left me for dead lol

But if you manage to get together that track day, write my name down as I'd love to participate in that! Would love to see some of the more entusiastic Fabia's on here too :D

I beat a Honda Type R yesterday - I got the parking space at Asda's, he didn't. Ha Ha. :)

........does that count?

Indeed it does count.

At least you weren't racing on a public highway !

:D

Indeed it is time to close this one. Off you go and find something else now :)
