Rear Washer Jet Warranty Query

Featured Replies

the rear washer jet has stopped working on my 56 plate fabia vrs. i've done a search and it seems to be a common problem, however when i booked my car in the chap on the phone said he wasnt sure if it would be a warranty job or not. has anyone had problems with this and had to fork out whilst still under warranty? if so how much should i be expecting to pay? i really dont think it could be anything other than warranty work but i thought i'd come on here and see what the craic is!

thanks in advance

ive had this , it just tends to become disconnected under the bonnet on the bulkhead on the passenger side where the pipe just pops back on ,very easy, just ask somebody to operate and you should see where its coming from

as regards warranty , in winter its caused by frozen pipes alot of times so im not sure

cheers for the quick responses, that link was very useful. There is not much chance of it being due to freezing with the weather of late and the front one still working fine so hopefully it should be ok. if not i'll look into fixing it myself, i know theres some useful guides on here but with it being under warranty i thought i'd take it to the dealer as the first port of call.

i'll post how i got on if it will help others with this problem:thumbup:

If you go to the dealer you must ensure you have approved and correctly mixed screen wash in else they will charge you.
