excuse me!!! vectra chassis isnt as good unless you had the limited edition vectra with LSD etc!!! ok it is a much better cruiser though imo.

And that would be the one I had. 3.0l cams, 3.0l divider, 4bar FPR and a lightened flywheel with a remap on the engine and the chassis had Full adjustable Koni's on it with Eibach -50mm springs & whiteline bars. It would gladly show the way to things like Boxster's and WRX impreza's on the bends. Granted it was missing the poke on the straights but that just doesn't bother me. If it did, I wouldn't be driving an Octavia! The chassis on that car was superb with a very neutral oversteer balance, even up to very high speeds. I think the Octavia has more potential but a lot of people write off the Vectra as a bad car. Those people plainly haven't driven the GSI which, whilst not setting the world on fire, are a very handy car in the turns.

im only 18 and own a octavia, fair enough, its not a VRS :( its on ly the 110nhp TDI, insurance is just under £1000 fully comp for me, the skoda badfge deosnt really bother me, if people say anything, i just point out its a VW with a diff badge :P
