Just got back from the motogp with 9 other bikes and it was a blast. My first motogp and I don't think I will go to one again as there is not a lot to see with our basic 56 Euro tickets but the crack with the lads and riding there and back was great.

Did a bit of touring around whilst there and visited a few world war 1 cemeteries to pay our respects.

Whilst not a huge Rossi fan I must say he had a cracking race and to see those guys in the flesh for a few seconds at a time really does show how fast they can truly go.

Try a European WSBK meeting, they tend to be a lot better than MotoGP. I did Mugello about 4-5 years back which although good wasn't a patch on WSBK at Monza the year before.

Still, the riding abroad always makes up for any downers, especially with a group of like-minded mates. Done a few of the War memorials/cemeteries in France, always very moving.
