Featured Replies

Mines one of the original vRS and I've always thought mine looks low compared to others.

It's ok, i presume it's just going to be similar to the others i was parked with.

Thanks though. :)

Maybe the car is just breathing out after all those years being driven by Briskoda's official Fat Knacker

This is mine fresh out of the showroom as one of the first vRS's 53 plate.

Does look a bit high :o

Thanks mort.

That looks a sensible level too.

I'm confused.

Is it most likely because the other cars have all been sat on their springs for x period of time but yours hasn't, so therefore the springs have stayed pretty much the same height/length as they haven't been used??

No idea if springs actually give over time but it sounded logical. :D

i dont think it looks too much different to mine...

mines currently sits a bit lower at the rear due to a boot full of subs.

until i see the car beside mine i cant tell much difference.

To be honest; and it could just be the photos, but I'm not seeing that much of a difference?

Yours looks like it's on a slope, so it's making the passenger side look higher than it would on a flat surface.

that is a flat surface, albeit not tarmac.

No idea then. :o:rofl:

Work's boring ;)

Looks to me like the photos are just taken at a slightly different angle.

Obviously, in real life it may look a massive difference? But the very small gap in those photos looks like the angle taken (see the end of the sills move too)

(also thats about the distance mine changes between a full and empty tank)

the pics are on a slope but johnny's car is deffo higher than my 05 plate vRS on a straight, If I get a chance tonight I will dig out some of my pics from the port seaton meet me and johnny went on.

I noticed it when I seen the car for the first time a few weeks ago, for a sporty car it should not be sitting that high!

Cheers Davy.

Both sides were obviously higher on mine, you can see it on the pic from Dunbar too.

I dunno, just hate the car at the moment. :(

IMHO it looks like Johnny's car has been jacked up ad that the springs have not settled once the jack has been released

Johnny once the car is sorted it will be magic or you could swap it with me.
