Ar5e!!!!

That's a bit of a bugger.

Where's that then?

Didn't the ship in the background give it away mate

Nope , not to me

I dont get about much

Wow that is bad :(

Ooh dear , gutted for you

Sarah

Write off?!

My TDi vRS has forded through water that depth with no issues... Though i suppose being parked didn't help!

Pwned! Gutted for you though. :thumbdwn:

Don't you mean dockyard or marina?

Oh damn!! sorry to hear about that.

why would it be a total write off? Assume the engine wasn't started, so I would have imagined it just needed drying out and the interior cleaning? Unless there's something else underlying it, such as the water rising another 6 feet?

I agree also surely it cannoit be written off it doesn,t look deep enough to do damage.

it'll only need new seats, carpets and all electricals that were under water replacing so a quick and easy job surely?

unlucky though chap, i hope the insurance is paying up and not putting it down to an act of god or some other BS.

i wouldnt fancy all the electrical connections been soaked in salt water or the bearings for that matter

Oh dear! My leak isnt that bad.

Hope you get it sorted smoothly.

You want to be careful leaving the windows open like that. It looks like rain.

I'm sorry you must be gutted. Insurance companies usually write flood damaged cars off at the drop of a hat. It'll be a cat D bargain for someone though.

Thats gutting!

send it to South Yorkshire or Humberside, it'll feel right at home! We have loads "just drying out!"

Oh that's bad :(

I once drove Mr P's brand new car into a flood and the water went down into the air intake, resulting in the insurance company paying out for a new engine. I'm still married though :D

Not unless your read 'lightship monthly' mate? Are you a spotter then?

It 'looks' for the power of the internet like the one moored at Tollesbury Marshes in Essex.

Does this come under 'acts of god' in insurance terms?

How come you left it that long?

Unlucky mate :thumbdwn:

Chris

i very much doubt he sat there watching with a pint and a bag of crisps having bets on how high the waters going to get

**** in deed. Was it just you or others as well? Would of thought the people or look after the beach would of done something to prevent this.

.......rain closing feature didn't work then!

What flavour crisps?

Chris

I'd like to see a picture of the car park (from the same angle) when the tides out...

That's one way to Dip your headlights

Has the car been recovered yet? Any idea of damage?
