This is probably a silly question but I've fairly limited experience of tyre places, just the usual i.e. KwikFit, JustTyres, eTyres....

If I buy my tyres really cheap from somewhere like Camskill, who do I get to fit them? It would seem rather rude to buy tyres cheap, get them shipped to a local supplier/fitter chain and ask them to fit and balance them...or do they not mind? The last two or three sets I've got etyres to supply and fit as they do a mobile service which is really good and the prices were not bad at all seeing as they included fitting. But if I can save £10 per tyre sourcing them myself is it worth it (or will I just end up paying the difference for fitting?)

Last time I got some tyres - approx 16 months ago - bought them from MyTyres. Had them fitted by local 'chappie' and he charged £8 a tyre.

Can VagTech fit them?

If not you could always give these people a call Alloy Wheels, Tyres, Exhausts, Suspension, Air Filters, Brakes from RTecShop.com they are doing mine next week!

i ordered some from camskill a while back and rang around the local tyre fitters to see who would fit and how much. they were all around £10 each inc disposal of old tyre and balancing.

I got talking to the fitter and he asked where i'd got them and how much? when I let him know he said to ring them the next time and they would match the price so I did this the other week when I needed another two new ones. Same price as camskill plus fitting plus i didnt have to wait for the delivery man The tyre places previous price had been around £90 so i got a saving when they matched to £76 each
